"Extremely welcoming , personable, and informative hosts. Made our family feel as though we were visiting family members out of town. Property is very relaxing, beautiful country side, interesting history, and plenty of animals to watch or interact with. We met Fonzie their pet deer, so cute . Both rooms we had were very clean and well furnished. Only item my wife missed was a full length mirror. Breakfast was delicious both days , hosts very accommodating if we needed anything special. Highly recommend staying at this property for those interested in relaxing, fun, historical location, and perfect hosts"

However, the same problem persisted: the sofa bed was very thin when turned on, causing some back pain at night. While it would be perfectly fine for two people, the person sleeping on the sofa bed might experience some discomfort."

"The beauty of the place is amazing. Texas Hill Country scenery in a quiet setting with a lovely house. Each room has a theme. I stayed in the garden room this time which made me feel as if I'd walked right into a "garden". This was my second visit and I'll keep returning when I travel this way. The hosts, Darrin and Keith, are exceptional! They ask about dietary needs (and the breakfasts are scrumptious) and they go out of their way to answer questions, provide directions and suggestions for places in the surrounding areas, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
