LesiklisaI stayed at this hotel for two nights. Everything was good, the grounds were pleasant, everything was clean, and the rooms were clean and all wood-paneled. You really feel that authentic Thai island vibe. The only thing missing in the room was a bathrobe and a dental kit. It's a long walk to 7-Eleven; I could have called a motorcycle taxi, of course, but it would be better if these kits were provided in the rooms. Luckily, I happened to have dental kits from previous hotels in my suitcase. The hotel has its own beach. One beach has a sandy entry, no rocks, but for some reason, the water there was always a bit murky. The second has rocks, but you can walk through them a little and then swim and snorkel comfortably. There are sun loungers right there, and a hotel cafe too. They have happy hour from 4 PM to 6 PM, which I took advantage of. My biggest disappointment was breakfast. There was a selection of pancakes and toast, which I rarely eat, as well as three Thai dishes, and you couldn't order from the menu in the morning. Basically, I stayed hungry 😬. Breakfast is important to me; it's about strength and energy, especially when you have an active vacation with swimming all day.
However, the view from the room was simply beautiful. If you want peace and quiet, get one of the bungalows higher up. Otherwise, it's quiet everywhere unless your neighbors start getting rowdy on their balconies 😄.
I forgot to add that the sunrise was something else; I could see it from my room too, but on the second day, I went down to the beach to watch it.

Guest UserWe booked a bungalow for one night at over 5,000 rubles. It seemed like a decent price, considering the bungalow was small and not new, but apparently, by local standards, it wasn't enough. There's no air conditioning in the room, and no fridge, not even a tiny one. There's hardly any space to move around in the bungalow. Good thing we didn't have large suitcases, just backpacks and small travel bags, and it was already cramped. Nowhere to put our belongings, which was very inconvenient. There's a canopy bed, but you can't open the windows and doors because of all sorts of critters that might crawl or fly in. The fan doesn't do much in the heat; it's still very stuffy. In the bathroom, the sink is at Gulliver's height. The faucet is tiny, while the sink is large and set high up – also inconvenient. There was no hand towel, only a body towel. I guess they don't want you to wash your hands too often to save on wiping. Buuuut, there are also positives. The property is on the first line. The beach is good, and so is the water. It would be great if people weren't worse than pigs and actually threw their trash away after themselves. Also, more trash bins should be placed around, all over the island, really. They should definitely maintain the island's cleanliness. The dogs on the beach are very cute. The cats are hysterical. 😂 We love animals and nature, but comfort is important too. We'd really appreciate more comfortable conditions for our stay. But for one night, it was fine. Breakfasts are decent. Ideally, they'd have lactose-free milk options for coffee; the plain coffee is very bitter. There are sun loungers on the property, enough for everyone. Instead of umbrellas, there are palm trees. It's a good place, they just need to improve the service and not push up the prices.

My stay at the Mountain Resort in Koh Lipe was truly an unforgettable experience! Our room was an absolute dream, featuring postcard-perfect ocean views of Koh Lipe that I will surely never forget.
What really made this stay so special was the incredible staff. They were exceptionally good and attentive, treating us with a unique blend of respect and genuine affection that made us feel so welcome.
The resort's amenities are also fantastic and very convenient. There is a shuttle bus service that takes you up and down the hill, running every 15 minutes during the afternoons, which made getting around effortless. Down at the beach, they have incredibly comfortable hammocks that are absolutely perfect for relaxing by the sea.
I cannot recommend this resort enough. An absolutely wonderful experience!

In terms of service, cleanliness, and amenities, this is your average Thai resort. The location, in my opinion, is fantastic—right at the very end of Pattaya Beach. There's always shade from a beautiful tree, and it's convenient for swimming and snorkeling. The only drawback is that it can sometimes be tough to climb the stairs since the hotel is located on a hill.
The price is definitely inflated, but I gather that's typical for the entire island; everything is more expensive than mainland Thailand. If I go back to Koh Lipe, I'll most likely choose this place again.

Guest UserPros:
1. **Location:** It's not right by the bustling pedestrian street, so it's relatively quiet, yet only a 5-10 minute walk away.
2. It's a detached, single-story villa with a private terrace.
3. The room has a minimalist design, and there's plenty of hot water for showers.
4. The beach is just a few steps from the room.
5. There are exclusive beach chairs available on the beach.
6. The breakfast is substantial, mainly Western-style.
7. They offer shuttle services.
Cons:
1. The room is a bit run-down; many facilities are old or loose.
2. The island in general is a bit noisy and too crowded.
3. At over 1000 RMB per night during peak season, it's not great value for money.
4. The immigration and departure points on the island for boarding/disembarking boats are quite chaotic. You have to pay the island fee upfront. Be aware that the ATM next to immigration charges half the withdrawal amount in fees – a definite rip-off.
5. The staff on the Thai transfer boat were rude and crammed everyone onto one vessel.

The hostel is in a convenient position, right in the walking street. The ground floor is sort of a post office, which makes it kind of chaotic and crowded and sometimes the shoes (that you need to leave outside of the building) are covered by the amount of packages being delivered. One pair of my shoes got taken by someone else (stolen?).
I felt there is really no control of whoever comes up, as the post office is so chaotic that no one checks who comes and goes to the hostel on the upper floors.
The common area is not that big and the WiFi is not stable at all. Nevertheless these are things
The showers need some maintainance, some have hangers for clothes, some don’t, some have broken ones. Same for the toilets. The cleaning of the showers and toilet areas was quite under control. I just wish that people with long hair would clean after themselves, because patches of bestie ere to be found on the sink and the showers all the time.
The room was relatively small, with 3 bunk beds and 6 small lockers. I recommend earplugs because you never know if the people in your room will snore, and also because the people in the hallway and common area are loud and no one respects the 10pm silence hours.
Good deal for money if you want to explore Ko Lipe on a budget.

We were quite worried when heading to Koh Lipe after reading other reviews, but the price was incredibly attractive, and the accommodation was right on the beach, which was very important to us. In the end, we're so happy we chose this hotel. We didn't have air conditioning, but there were two fans that worked well and quietly. One fan was enough for us; we didn't even turn on the second one. On the other hand, we always had hot water with good pressure. There was a lovely clean fridge, a kettle, dishes, tea, and coffee. All the toiletries were provided. Everything was very clean! Good quality bed linen and towels. The staff did excellent cleaning upon request, including changing the sheets and towels. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. The bungalows are small but very clean and cozy. There were a few ants in the corner of the bathroom on the first day, but they disappeared after cleaning. I don't know who wrote the bad reviews. We were simply thrilled to stay here for 5 wonderful nights and days. The hotel also has a massage parlor. The women who give massages are true professionals. I have a bad back, and they helped me a lot with three one-hour massage sessions. The hotel is right on the beach; you wake up in the morning, and in a minute, you're in the sea. And how wonderful it is to sit by the sea under a tree in the shade... Pure bliss! We want to come back here next year with our friends.

Great value for money. The room was spacious with a large balcony and a comfortable bed. Breakfasts were basic, but enough to get you started. The hotel's location is generally convenient. They cleaned the room every day! A big plus is the water cooler downstairs, so you can get drinking water anytime. You can confidently stay at this hotel.

An average hotel with a tired renovation. The bathroom has an instantaneous water heater, but the water is always cold. The toilet leaked when flushed. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed. I recommend contacting the hotel in advance so they can meet you at the pier to take your luggage.

Guest UserThe position of the bungalows are right on sunrise Beach. We had bungalow number three which is on the beach from and perfect every morning. I don’t think I would want to stay in any other bungalows past the first two rows they’re basic but sufficient and we had a great stay here. There are lots of boats, but it really isn’t a problem. Easy to walk to walk straight probably 10 to 15 minutes. The breakfast was basic but sufficient I would stay here again.
