3-Star Hotels in Mae Rim

Although I mistakenly booked the stay for the same day while making the reservation in the evening — meaning the check-in time had already passed by about four hours and I am quite far away in PAI (leaving next day to Mae RIM). Since it was a non-refundable, no-show booking, I initially thought I had lost it. However, Paul, the reception manager, reached out by email to ask what time I would be arriving. I explained my mistake, letting him know I had meant to book for the following day. To my surprise and gratitude, they kindly adjusted my reservation at no extra charge. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and filled with tranquil natural sounds. The cleanliness was outstanding. The huts are very nice. The toilet and shower were stylish, modern, and spotless. I had a very comfortable stay, and the breakfast was of excellent quality. (Attached are un-edited photos taken by mobile)

Stayed at 301 room for 2 days, the plumbing is stuck hence the washroom has unpleasant odors; there is room for improvement for washroom/ amenities (I.e. proper storage for shampoo/ body shampoo)

Great location (specifically for a romantic getaway in the mountains). Room was great overall (save for a the boiler heater slightly malfunctioning while heating up water) Staff was super friendly and helpful. Only remark that I have was that we were definitely overcharged for a meal that was offered to us (without specifying the price initially). I know also partially my mistake too, but just giving head-up for the future guests. Other than that, everything was great

Very cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.

I have tried so many hotels, this resort offers the most comfortable bed. The view is superb here in the mountains. Very friendly staff. Giving you the top priority. Dinner was great, book your dinner with them, you get to bbq and sabu sabu with the beautiful mountain top view. This place is difficult to book so make sure to book early. Only thing is have to make sure the driver send you all the way into the resort. Dont drop you at the goggle map drop off point, which you will need to walk extra with your luggage.

I really loved the service at NJ Homestay. Although the staff may not speak or understand English very well, we managed just fine using Google Translate. Our room’s toilet did give us some trouble during our stay — the water heater wasn’t working at first, and later the toilet had flushing issues, which continued throughout the two nights we were there. That said, I want to give a special shoutout to the staff, who were always patient and helpful, never hesitating to assist us with unclogging the toilet or checking the heater whenever there was a problem. The location isn’t the most convenient since it’s up in the mountains, but having a private driver made a big difference. Breakfast was included and it was great. As for cleanliness, it was acceptable considering the homestay is located in a mountainous area — some bugs are expected, and roosters start crowing as early as 3:30 a.m. Overall, the beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly staff and locals (Chiang Mai people are generally very warm and welcoming) made the stay worthwhile. I would definitely visit again.

It's not far from Tiger Kingdom or the elephant spot, but it's far from the city center, so you probably won't be able to catch a taxi on the way back from the Khom Loi Festival. Even if they took us there, they wouldn't be able to pick up other customers on the way back, so they would either charge several times the price or refuse to take us. I wouldn't recommend it if you're not staying in Chiang Mai for long, but the pool and restaurant are nice, so it's recommended if you're staying for a long time.

First of all, I want to compliment the staff because they speak very politely and provide excellent service. The bathroom, water, bed, and bathroom are super clean and smell very good. At first, I was a bit worried whether I would get the accommodation as advertised, but when I actually went, I stopped worrying. The weather was great, the sky was beautiful, there was a bathtub to soak in, and there was also a barbecue. Most importantly, the breakfast was very delicious.

Best location with a stunning view. However, there’s inconsistent information between what stated in the hotel’s page and the actual room amenities. There is no WIFI in-room, the hotel staff said that they only have WIFI in the canteen area which can’t reach to the guest house. Also, the bedsheet and the certain stained and the bathroom is quite smelly. Other than this, everything else is fine and breakfast is on time.

The view here is stunning. The highlight is definitely the bathtub where you can soak while enjoying the scenery—it was amazing. The Moo Krata set is 500 THB, which is tasty and worth the price. The free breakfast is simple, consisting of porridge, toast, instant coffee, and juice. Getting here is very easy; the road is a smooth drive and there is plenty of parking. The only downside I found was the lack of hot water. Other than that, everything was great.
