3-Star Hotels in Semboku

Thank you for the warm hospitality of the owner and his wife. Breakfast and dinner are all local seasonal ingredients. You can also experience the farmwork by the way. I hope to visit again in different seasons.

This inn has a large hot spring. The hot spring is indoors, but the building has a high ceiling and is made up of thick log pillars, giving the large bath a great atmosphere. There is a restaurant inside the building that houses the hot spring facilities. The restaurant also has a high ceiling and is very comfortable. There is a wide selection of sake from Akita Prefecture, and the food was very delicious. There is a wide selection of Chinese food, and I had the green pepper and pork stir fry, which was very tasty. The breakfast buffet was very filling, with a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, as well as local ingredients.

Great location, but the rooms are a bit dusty. The girl at the reception in not the most friendly/smiley, but they were nice as they kept my bag for 1 night and when I mistakenly booked for 2pax they agreed to make me pay for 1pax (after I asked). Overall ok.

The room can put up to four floors. The area is still very good. The wet and dry separation. The hot spring is separated by men and women. You can also come to the room at night. The room is also very clean.

Staff friendly. If heavy snow it’s hard to get there. If use a rental car needs 4WD car only.
