I absolutely LOVED this hotel, from the moment we arrived to when we left. My favourite hotel from my whole holiday in all of Indonesia. The breakfast was fantastic. The room was so unique and special, and really made our trip even better. The pool is beautiful. Don’t hesitate and book this gorgeous villa.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 One of the best stays I’ve ever experienced in Lombok! Lombokhouse truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The space was thoughtfully designed — clean, cozy, and peaceful — perfect for resting. There’s also strong Wifi and TV with various channels, Netflix and other entertainment. The location was also ideal: quiet enough to relax, yet close enough to Kuta’s great cafes and beaches. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the well-kept rooms to the shared kitchen and communal spaces that made it easy to meet other travelers. But what truly made my stay unforgettable was the host and staff — always kind, helpful, and quick to assist with anything I needed, whether it was arranging transport or sharing local recommendations. If you’re coming to Kuta Lombok and want a stay that’s affordable, stylish, and full of heart — Lombokhouse is the place. Would absolutely come back again!

Fantastische villa met private pool. Ver van Kuta, je moet een behoorlijk eindje over jl. Mawun met de scooter om bij Olea villas te komen. Maar je komt wel thuis in een heerlijke villa met fantastisch zwembadje. Het personeel is super vriendelijk. Ontbijt ( wat overigens heerlijk is ) komen ze brengen bij de villa, scooter kan je via hun huren tegen prima prijs ( wij hadden een 125cc voor 100.000 pd ). Ze doen de was voor 20.000 per kilo. Echt top! De eerste avond hadden we 2 dikke spinnen in de kamer, die hingen in een hoek boven bij de gordijnen. Niet goed gecheckt dus tijdens schoonmaak. Verder zijn er veel rupsjes in en om de villa. Je zit een beetje op een berg en met veel groen om je heen, dus je ontkomt er niet aan. De laatste dag hadden we een aap op onze muur. Prijs kwaliteit is dik in orde. Laatste dag konden we laat uitchecken, vervoer van/naar airport kan ook voor 250.000. Alles gaat via whatsapp, reactie komt altijd heel snel en is keurig. Al met al dik tevreden hier. Aanrader.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful stay – perfect little hideaway in Kuta! We absolutely loved our stay at Lavella Villas. The whole team – from the friendly manager to every member of staff – were so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The small, cosy room was exactly what we needed, clean and comfortable with everything you’d want for a relaxing stay. The pool area is lovely and peaceful — perfect for unwinding after exploring. And the location is great too — just a short walk to the town centre, but far enough to enjoy the calm atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing base in Kuta Lombok with genuinely kind people running it.

We booked a 2 bedroom villa. It was overall quite new, clean and decent for a group of 4. Pros - Service was excellent as all the staff were helpful and attended to our requests immediately. They also helped to arrange transport for us to travel around with a fee but its reasonable enough as it was not easy to call a grab. Cons - The villa is not located at the main street so we need to walk along the alleys without any street lights at night. But it was not dangerous, just a bit dark. The water pump behind the master-bedroom was quite noisy and it affected our sleep quality throughout our stay.

I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights with my two sons. I rented a car from the airport to here for about 30 minutes, and I also enjoyed seeing many surf schools on the road today. The sea scenery is still before development, so it's really good However, if you don't rent a car, it's a little uncomfortable every time you go to downtown or other beaches. It's in a remote place. But it's so quiet and relaxing. It's 60 minutes to downtown Mataram, 50 minutes to Selong belanak, west of the city. Many mountains are being cut and under construction due to development here and there, Recommended if you are looking for a quiet and secluded place. The sincere breakfast is also delicious. Our children are children who can't eat bread as a staple, but they kindly prepared rice. Thank you 🙏🏼

We liked to be here, there were 5 or 6 nights. Every day was cleaned very well, the staff was friendly and always helped us, on the territory of his restaurant, everything that ate - was delicious, for breakfast choice was quite good. Every evening they spent on the patio or the veranda of the restaurant - played cards (in access for guests, as well as playing uno and books in different languages) and just communicated, for the chill a great place. There is a parking lot for bikes with security. Used the laundry service - everything is cool, washed, dried and very neatly folded. There is also a transfer to different places from the hotel. The area is green and beautiful, the pool has not been used, it is small, the pool has a good zone and for the sun, and a zone in the shadow. There is a cooler, cups, tea. The room was straight good, all the time the downsides have not noticed. The only thing that without a bike will certainly be uncomfortable - to the center on foot will go uncomfortable. In general, I recommend, I liked everything.

The Matahari Inn is definitely long past its prime! It was probably once a very good hotel, but it was simply not maintained and urgently needs a complete renovation! The rooms are large and spacious, and the beds are also pleasantly large. However, you can see in the rooms that nothing has been renovated for a long time! Cracks in the tiles and the cleanliness is also rather below average! But this was still somewhat OK. BUT the bathrooms are an absolute disgrace and it is actually impossible to rent rooms with bathrooms like that! There were 3 couples of us, the same in all 3 rooms! All the fittings were rusty and corroded! In our bathroom the shower holder was broken, so the shower head always had to be held in our hand! There was no soap at the sink, no glasses for the toothbrushes, and there was only one bath towel, no extra towel! There was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, no spare. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, but it is clear everywhere that the hotel management is absolutely inadequate! When the rooms are ”cleaned”, only the beds are made, the bathroom is not cleaned at all! At breakfast, the staff have to be repeatedly alerted when something is missing or finished! There were always enough service staff on hand, but no one checked independently whether everything was available. The cups and especially the saucers were also very old and not inviting to drink your coffee from! It is clear everywhere that the staff have not been trained and are not monitored or trained! The junior manager told us that the hotel had been empty for 7 years and you can tell! This hotel has so much potential as it is in an absolutely prime location, but as long as it is managed as it is currently, I can only say, never again!

Great stay at JM Hostel Kuta Lombok! The place is clean, comfortable. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the location is convenient for exploring Kuta Lombok. A nice and affordable place to stay.

I really like the place. The bungalows (the mid-size ones that I rent.. forgot the name 😁) are in Lombok traditional house style. The garden is well kept and looks lovely with the guitar-shaped pool. I feel comfy staying here. The cleanliness is good, it's neat! And it is easy to find food and drinks. So many stores, mini markets, cafes/restaurants around in the neighborhood.. full of them. Easy to find, enough parking space.. and you can walk to the beach. The staffs are nice and NOT annoying with ”too friendly” acts :) so we had a good time!
