A homestay I like very much. The location is very moderate, located in the center of the island, it is very convenient to go to various attractions in the southeast and northwest. The door is Nanchang Beach, and you can also go to the sea to fishermen's house. The proprietress is friendly and welcoming, responsive, and gave a lot of pertinent suggestions and help throughout the process. The homestay is very Feeling, the area is reasonably separated, the pool is a highlight, and the children have a great time. The proprietress’s mother cooks first-class dishes, home-cooked and delicious. Very recommended

An excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier. To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

It's a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. The location is very beautiful and close to nature, you will have a sea view. This place is very well maintained. The house is a smart house, everything is white and new. We were warmly welcomed by the Owners. The staff was extremely friendly. The home-cooked food was yummy (fresh local seafood). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

I rarely feel that uploading 20 pictures is not enough. It is so beautiful that I regret not booking for two more days. The slow pace of life is very comfortable. The B&B is very tasteful, clean and tidy. Although it is on the beach, there is no humidity at all. The lady boss is also super nice. We informed you in advance about ticket grabbing matters and arranged vehicles, which saved you unnecessary trouble during the journey. We also caught up with the shop owner’s father’s 80th birthday. We were lucky enough to taste cakes and share the joy together. There was a beach right at the door, and the children caught a lot of crabs, which was especially special. Very convenient. I will definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Highly recommended.

The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of the countryside, so peaceful at night you can hear insects chirping and frogs croaking. The decor is comfortable, and the rooms are quite nice, easily accommodating two adults and two children, with a balcony. I noticed a slight odor in the room, but my family thought it was fine. Opening the balcony door, the air was filled with the pungent smell of fertilizer freshly applied to crops – nauseating! Restaurants nearby are expensive and unappetizing; I recommend renting a car to eat in the county town. The room clearly includes breakfast, but when we inquired in the morning, they said it wasn't prepared and required advance booking – please remember this. Although there was a small sign indicating it, we weren't informed during check-in and ended up spending 90 yuan on takeout. The 20 yuan beach voucher included with the booking was ignored; we didn't ask about it. In conclusion, the service was poor, the experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't go back.

Advantages: The boss is enthusiastic and the feedback is timely. The location of the homestay is good, facing Dawang Beach, opening the window screen is the sea, opening the window can hear the sound of the waves. Go out and go down the steps to Dawang Food Street. Not far from several popular attractions (mountain and sea wonders, Dawang Beach, Temple dry beach, Longquan Beach). The boss's family of 2 cats ( potato chips and peanuts) and 1 dog (latte) are very close. The boss will take the initiative to introduce the taxi master, organize the tenants to share the car, and reduce the taxi fare. Disadvantages: The 25m2 room is too cramped, and the aisle of the room can accommodate one person. The design of the basin and faucet is unreasonable. As soon as the faucet is turned on, the water splashes outside. The floor drain in the toilet has a dampness and there will be a smell. The hot water in the shower room comes very slowly, and it takes a long time for cold water to have hot water.

It is the white small building in the photo. The location is the best on this island. It is not the farthest place on the East Cliff. It is very inconvenient to get in and out. It can sleep in the hotel every day, and it is not close to Shengshan Town. There are too many boats and the sea view is almost there. This store is close to the lover's stone. No wonder the name is called this name... It is more than one kilometer away from Shengshan Town, and it is not very far to walk around. The children in the swimming pool are very happy in it... There is also a warm-hearted security uncle, the waiter sister at breakfast, there will be a period later.

The twin room with a mountain view balcony offers an amazing view. Waking up to lush greenery in the morning and enjoying the peaceful tranquility at night was wonderful. The two beds were spacious and separate, ensuring privacy. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the breeze was very pleasant. The room was clean and the facilities were new. It's also close to Jihu Beach, making it convenient for activities.
