The homestay is near the pier, five minutes away. You have to take a staircase to go up and down the stairs. The luggage can be transported in an iron box, which is very convenient. Shengshan is definitely not an easy place to get to, but staying at Woqu honestly made it so worth it! It’s very guesthouse style, so hosts have a full menu that they can cook for you if you don’t want to go into town for the restaurants. They were all so warm and welcoming, even though my Chinese isn’t very good. Even though they had a larger group of 21 staying at the same time as me, they still checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable and that I could still have my privacy. They also offered me the number of a driver who was very readily available to take me wherever I wanted. The room was beautiful, with a wonderful view of the ocean. It would be really romantic for a couples’ getaway. I hope that more people come to Shengshan and Gouqi, even for just a day, just so they can experience some of the island-style warmth and hospitality that Woqu had to offer. It's a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. The location is very beautiful and close to nature, you will have a sea view. This place is very well maintained. The house is a smart house, everything is white and new. We were warmly welcomed by the Owners. The staff was extremely friendly. The home-cooked food was yummy (fresh local seafood). The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

We brought our kids to Gouqi Island for the weekend and stayed at this guesthouse – it was fantastic! The location is super convenient, right by the sea with several free beaches downstairs, perfect for kids. You can enjoy sea views and a sea breeze right from your room. The room was clean and tidy, very comfortable to stay in, and the soundproofing facing the sea was excellent. The owner was incredibly warm and thoughtful. Before we even arrived, they recommended sightseeing routes and helped us arrange a driver. When we got to the guesthouse, they even helped us with our luggage. We could ask them anything we needed, and the whole trip was completely hassle-free.

Traveling beyond expectations, the time is very fast, staying on Shengshan Island for less than a day, and I was worried about the traffic on the island at the beginning. When the boss said that we could provide chartered service, it really made us less trouble. We drove us everywhere. We played a lot of scenic spots in a small half-day time. We also took us to chase the sunset. We sent us to see the sunrise in the morning. The service was too good. In terms of accommodation, the homestay is right by the sea. Sitting on the edge of the bay window, you can see the sea view. The restaurant is also by the sea and the scenery is not bad. There is also a swimming pool at the homestay. If the weather is hot, you can bring children to play in the water.

The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of the countryside, so peaceful at night you can hear insects chirping and frogs croaking. The decor is comfortable, and the rooms are quite nice, easily accommodating two adults and two children, with a balcony. I noticed a slight odor in the room, but my family thought it was fine. Opening the balcony door, the air was filled with the pungent smell of fertilizer freshly applied to crops – nauseating! Restaurants nearby are expensive and unappetizing; I recommend renting a car to eat in the county town. The room clearly includes breakfast, but when we inquired in the morning, they said it wasn't prepared and required advance booking – please remember this. Although there was a small sign indicating it, we weren't informed during check-in and ended up spending 90 yuan on takeout. The 20 yuan beach voucher included with the booking was ignored; we didn't ask about it. In conclusion, the service was poor, the experience was mediocre, and I wouldn't go back.

The location of the homestay is good, facing Dawang Beach, opening the window screen is the sea, opening the window can hear the sound of the waves. The boss's family of 2 cats ( potato chips and peanuts) and 1 dog (latte) are very close. Disadvantages: The 25m2 room is too cramped, and the aisle of the room can accommodate one person. The design of the basin and faucet is unreasonable. As soon as the faucet is turned on, the water splashes outside. The floor drain in the toilet has a dampness and there will be a smell. The hot water in the shower room comes very slowly, and it takes a long time for cold water to have hot water.

It is located in Shengshan Island Fishing Port, about 10 minutes walk from the passenger terminal. The windows of the sea view room have only single-layer sound insulation. If there are fishing boats coming back from fishing at night, it will be a little noisy, but it is really interesting to watch.

The twin room with a mountain view balcony offers an amazing view. Waking up to lush greenery in the morning and enjoying the peaceful tranquility at night was wonderful. The two beds were spacious and separate, ensuring privacy. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the breeze was very pleasant. The room was clean and the facilities were new. It's also close to Jihu Beach, making it convenient for activities.
