Anna the manager was very pleasant and kind. Cleanliness was not great. Behind our toilet looked like had never been cleaned. You can tell they just add towels to shelves without ever wiping down. We pulled back the bed when we arrived to see if the sheets were cleaned and there was a wad of tangled hair at the foot of the bed within the covers.
This was a trip for a family funeral. It served our needs well. I had stayed there 4 years ago. It doesn’t seem like it has been kept up very well - definitely sighs of aging.
There was an advertised “dinner” in the lobby in the early evening; it was chicken nuggets, iceberg lettuce with dressing, and potato chips. I think a “happy hour” with things like chips/salsa, cheese/crackers, veggies/dip might be more appealing.
The breakfast was better than expected - the best we’ve seen since our limited travels the past pandemic years. Wasn’t fancy, but it was ok.
Front desk staff was very helpful.
A serviceable hotel, at a reasonable cost.
We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and the front desk was very good and checked in for us very quickly. We booked a king-size double bed and a sofa bed. Open the sofa bed, maybe no one uses it, it is dirty, so it is not necessary. The next morning, maybe we got up late, so there was no choice for breakfast. But the mint tea bags were delicious.
The beds are not the most comfortable. The rooms are cold and drafty. The heater did not turn off due to the drafty conditions of the room. The breakfast was adequate except for the cold sausage links and skim milk for the cereal. Blankets are garbage.
