2-Star Hotels in Surat Thani

This really is a 10/10 place. My husband and my favourite place we’ve stayed, this trip to Thailand. We’ve already decided we want to come back, with friends, next time. We wanted a place to cut our drive to Bangkok and had no idea Sarat Thani and the surrounding area had so much to offer. Mr. Pongsak, the owner, could not be more lovely. He is so thoughtful and invested in making sure everyone who stays has the best experience and shares his knowledge of the area and all the things there are to do and see. We drove a rented car, and found it sooooo peaceful and relaxing to be there. And so close to get to town, markets and lots of yummy foods. We cannot wait to share this gem with friends and try the other cabins. The pond with all its fish is a gorgeous water feature too. They opened in 2025 and are building a third cabin. They are modern and still so charming and relaxing. Cannot wait til we can return on our next trip. My only concern is that it is such a great spot and is going to be so popular, we will need to book well in advance next time! Thank you for everything. See you next time, Mr. Pongsak and family.

The staff provided excellent service, and the room was charming, especially for the price. However, the bed had a lot of lint. I noticed it because I was wearing black, and my clothes were covered in lint after lying on it. If I have the chance, I'd definitely stay here again. Recommended!

Convenient location. Many restaurants around the hotel. Good for a short stay. Bathroom a little dated but it had everyrhing we needed.

When you arrive, you get greeted by your name that is written on a board. I liked it. Room was relatively clean and had airconditioning. The hotel is located nearby the bus station, so you walk from the bus towards this hotel in 8 minutes. The hotel is also nearby the night food market and a few bars and restaurants. A good hotel for the price.

Very comfortable, in the city, the service is very good, I like it very much, friends say it's very comfortable, beautiful, very kind, I'll have the opportunity to use the service again.

This hotel is great. It’s very well looked after. Rooms are modern, very clean. Staff are nice and friendly. Free breakfast and coffee in the morning. Parking on hotel car park also. We used this hotel after a Visa Run from Ranong. As we were travelling from Ranong to Koh Samui, we spent a night in Papangkorn house and it was great, I will stay again.

Very good and comfortable accommodation where you can save up money without losing quality in the service. The environment is clean and the staff is friendly as well.

This is a nice little resort, located near the hill with fantastic view. The price is budget and the room is of good standard (there is a kettle even in a standard room). The area is nice and quiet. The bathroom is clean and the water is strong and warm. The receptionist is not always at the front so check-in and check-out can be slow. However, overall this is worth the price and I don't mind staying there again.

A very reasonably priced hotel with clean and comfy room and small balcony. The location is just over the bridge the other side from the main town but it is quite peaceful and very easy to access the night markets. I would recommend renting a moped or even a bicycle would be fine. If you visit, walk down to the waterfront near the crossroads bar and you might see a big monitor lizard in the tree. Also I recommend a little trip to Koh Lamphu which is a little island you can go around on foot or bicycle. Next to the entrance there is a little food market which opens at night. A perfect way to experience a bit of local Thai life.

Very good. Booked without thinking much Book for only 1 night, summary, stay 4-5 . Good location, not close, not far from the city, about 5 minutes, convenient transportation. The room is clean too. Personally, the sound is not disturbing. Feel safe Even though there is no hair dryer and water heater, it is not that difficult on the day. In the rain, there are all delivery items. The staff are very friendly. Most importantly, there are a lot of parking spaces. As for the part we stay, it is a private car park in front of the room. But there are still many parking spaces for the building to be fully secure, comfortable, great.
