loved the atmosphere of the ryokan and the location was super central and close to the JR station. i drove there and the staff helped with parking of the car and there were yukata and clogs for us to wear around town. the stay included an onsen pass. only thing is that there's no shower in the ryokan, so had to go to an onsen for bath.

It is a cost-effective youth travel in Chengqi Hot Spring Town. The hot spring town is relatively small and it is almost the same everywhere. The room is in the form of tatami and you have to make your own bed. On the day of my stay, there were two people in the room plus me, and the roommate was quiet and very good. There is no floor heating in the public area of the hotel, which is cold. There are two toilets and two sinks. When I used it, I happened to not meet people and didn't have to line up. If you take a bath, there is one room on the first floor. Because I went to the public hot spring to wash, I didn't use it. There is also a kitchenette on the first floor, which can be simple hot rice balls or something.

One of the cheaper options in Kinosaki Onsen. The rooms are clean and functional. The biggest downside was the water pump right outside of our window, which could be heard the whole night. The shared facilities were generally well equipped, but we missed a washing machine to do our laundry.

It seems that it has just been renovated, and the room is new and has a scent of wood. It seems that the town is encouraging literature, and there are several novels in the room. The dining room was beautiful and the food was very delicious. The landlady was also a friendly person, and it was very good to get information about the outdoor hot spring tour, the walking course, and the ropeway.

This ryokan is above my expectation. The included evening meal is delicious and they provided very good service all the time. The breakfast is at an affiliated cafe nearby providing western food and the included items are also better than what I expected. The only negative is that the location is far from the station and there is no car service to drive you, but the other amenities make up for it.
