2-Star Hotels in Marseille

It was pretty good. It's behind a gas station, and we got there by taxi. Transportation was convenient; it was easy to transfer from Line 2 to Line 1 at the Old Port. Don't stay in guesthouses in Marseille—they don't have air conditioning and it's unbearably hot in the summer. Luckily, we booked this hotel in time, so we were very grateful to have a place to stay. We stayed for four nights. Walking to the metro station was also very convenient. There's a football stadium there; during the Olympics, there was a football match, so it was quite crowded. Marseille has people of all skin colors, so be careful and don't go out alone at night, especially women. Remember to go to Provence before the end of June; the lavender will be gone by early July, and the scenery is breathtaking. This trip to France has a powerful impact!

Although it is far from the city center, it is very suitable for self-driving around Marseille. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel. There is also a gas station nearby. The parking lot is large and free. The French sense of relaxation is my favorite. I always thought it was 12 o'clock check-out, actually 11 o'clock, 11: 50 People came up and told me that you should check out. I asked what time to check out. They answered 11 o'clock. I said I was sorry that I remembered the check-out time wrong. They were very friendly and said that you don’t have to worry, and you didn’t charge me more.

The hotel is very basic, nothing special. Cleaning is good. Pros: The staff is very friendly, and compared to other hotels in France, we left the best impression possible. Cons: 1. The pillows are uncomfortable and high, making my neck hurt. 2. The shower leaks a little, with cracks in the walls and ceiling in places. The windows could do with a good cleaning. 3. The hotel is no-smoking, but unfortunately, some guests smoke, and the ventilation system lets a terrible smell into the bathroom. The breakfast is very basic. It would be better to have just boiled eggs, not this omelet-like mess.

It is really worth staying there. It is not in the Puerto Viejo sector but it is very well located. Great price quality ratio. Recommended without doubt. From there we move daily to visit the best sites in Marseille.
