2-Star Hotels in Giza

I want to thank the entire hotel staff. Throughout my stay, they were always there to help with any questions I had. I was alone, but I felt at ease here. They also arranged transfers from the hotel to and from the airport. The breakfasts were delicious. I had plenty to eat. The bread, flatbreads, and puff pastry were delicious. The terrace is very nice—unusually covered with palm leaves, and there's an original Bedouin area with low tables and sofas. It's a highlight! They could use some more flowering plants. The only downside to the hotel for me is that there's nowhere to go out in the evening, unless you take a taxi. The surrounding area is full of complex new development. But there's a plus: right across from the hotel entrance, there's a small shop where you can buy water, juice, sweets, and coffee. I recommend this hotel. The GEM and the pyramids are nearby. Cairo is worth a visit, and perhaps more than once. I only managed to see the main attractions in three days, but I'd love to see more!

The landlord is very friendly and helps us contact the chartered car and contact the airport car. The hotel is very close to the pyramid. It takes ten minutes to walk. The hotel is also very new. The room is very clean. Friends who have the opportunity to travel to the pyramid recommend staying here. The room can see the pyramid.

Sara was an amazing host. She didn’t hesitate to help whenever I needed it and checked if I was ok throughout my stay. She made some great lunch and allowed me to check out slightly later due to my circumstances. The facilities were clean and the roof had an amazing view of the pyramids. I would not hesitate to return here. Thank you again Sara!

I stayed for three nights. It's only a one-minute walk to the entrance of the Pyramids on the east side. The breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the Pyramids was amazing. The cleanliness of the room was not perfect, but it wasn't dirty either. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I think it offers excellent value for money.

The service inside the hotel is perfect from the airport pickup, welcome drink , the bar at the rooftop and the staff here is all very nice. I was staying at the hotel for three days. The first day music on the rooftop was quite loud so I was asked to kindly turn the volume down at least before midnight so that I can sleep. However, the staff turned the music down at 10 PM. And on the next day the music was not too loud. which shows that they really care about their clients. The place around the hotel is quite dirty, but I don't mind since It is the local lifestyle and inside the hotel is really nice and clean. Plus if you wish to go to the pyramid in the early morning with only a 3-5 min walk this would be the place.

Very good hotel in its category, I would add another star. Very good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Furniture, carpet in good condition. Bed comfortable. Staff are very responsive and careful. I am very happy. I advise everyone.

This is probably the most affordable hotel in this area but the service is the best. The staff, Abdul Rahman was so helpful and his brothers too. They never stop smiling and always there to help you with anything. It is near to the entrance of the Pyramid , you might just need about 10-15 minutes walking. The hot water worked well. The room was tidy and looked new. I’d recommend this hotel 100%.

Didn’t stay in the room that was booked. Bedroom wasn’t clean, there was urine on the toilet seat and internet barely worked. Also a lot of appliances ie phone was in the room but didn’t work… good view from roof but got very very hot as there is no shelter or wind protection.

My name is Lucila Del Rosario. Thank you so much to the entire staff of Happy View Inn hotel. Especial thanks to Mohammed, Ali, Eslam & Mahmoud.  Before my staying to the hotel, Mohamed was very attentive that I have good arriving and during my stay there, until my departure. This hotel is more than I expect, and I also love the name of this hotel 🤩. They treat me as a good family. The food was delicious and they have spacious rooms with equipment that you need. Everyday during my stay I took the soon enjoying the Pyramids view; or while I reviewed my books, taking the soon while I drink tea or the tasty Egyptian coffee, or seeing the stars. They also taking care about everything that I need; including to watch my football 🏈 game in the night of the Super Bowl.  I see you soon this year INCHALLAH! Thank you / Shukran !!

Staff Amazingly friendly and helpful, The views are incredible from room to resturant to roof top, where i got to watch and hear the evening light show in fully glory. Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk.. This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything.. The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience, The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged.. Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning. The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show. Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views
