"Xi Meng Yun Yin was such a wonderful surprise! The owner was incredibly kind; as soon as we arrived, he told us about the house's historyâit's a renovated old house from the Qing Dynasty, over a hundred years old, and every detail is full of character, you can feel the care put into it. They even secretly upgraded our roomâwhat a pleasant surprise!! Before we left, they gave us some local handmade dried tangerine peel, so thoughtful!! The cleanliness and service were impeccable, I felt very safe and comfortable staying there, and the environment had a wonderful atmosphere. I'll definitely stay here again next time!!"

AAnonymous UserMy family and I enjoyed the stay in this lovely cosy accommodation.
It is perfectly located at a few steps from the entrance of the old town, making it easy to transfer luggage from taxi. There are several nice restaurants around which were our favourite there.
The rooms are spaced and reasonably designed. There is a laundry which is super convenient. The environment is quiet with a beautiful covered courtyard.
The owners are friendly and Carey. They were attended to all our needs. Strongly recommended.

GGuest UserThis is absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and bright. I booked two rooms for one night. The rooms have a smart home system and great hot and cold water pressure. Each room has a complimentary minibar and many thoughtful amenities. The hotel is located in the old town, in a superb location. The owners are warm and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

îŹîŹzhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous! The courtyard was so cozy; it was so relaxing to just sit there and daydream when I didn't have to go out. It's located in the old town, but not too close to the main road, so it was very quiet. I slept soundly every night for three nights! It's also very close to the main road of the old town â just a one-minute walk to the right after you leave. It's also very close to the popular Fan Ji Spicy Restaurant. The rooms were very clean and tidy, and they provided disposable toiletries. Since it's a guesthouse, the soundproofing isn't the best, but the manager thoughtfully provided earplugs. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!

NNibbler IYou don't usually expect much from a hotel near a railway station, but this one's actually pretty decent and the owners are super welcoming. We even got upgraded to a bigger room with a mahjong table and spent a good chunk of time playing card games. The room comes with TV, AC, hairdryer, few bottles of water, some tea, and toiletries. Keep in mind: all rooms have squat toilets. Still, for the price, I'm really happy with this stay

GGuest UserThe 20 photos are my thoughts about Xianyun Courtyard. I came here by accident when I was in the most painful period of my broken heart. I just wanted to change the environment to heal my wounds, but I didn't expect to have a group of friends from all over the world and my home far away in Yunnan. We played games together, cooked together, took walks together, went to explore the surrounding restaurants together, and talked about life together on the recliners in the courtyard. Age, gender, region and experience are no longer important at this moment. We are a family. I hope such a beautiful courtyard can be known by more people. The boss is a gentle and careful girl who keeps the courtyard in order. This place deserves more people to love it. When I wrote this review, I had already returned to my home in Shandong, but we know that we will definitely see each other again. That is our common home! See you next time!

GGuest UserThe hotel is only a few hundred meters away from the ancient city landmark, Gongchen Gate. The pedestrian street at the entrance leads directly into the ancient city. The location is excellent. From the public area to the interior of the room, it is full of design sense and pleasing to the eye, which is very rare. The staff has a good service attitude and actively changed the view room when checking in.
