Guest UserFirst of all, one sentence: So lucky! What a great experience! Treasure B&B!
(We changed to 201 when we arrived at the store. The following scenery was mainly taken in 201! There is also a public landscape balcony on the 4th floor where you can see an entire terraced field!)
Facilities: A newly opened B&B in September, but the hardware facilities are very good! Even the air conditioner is from COLMO! Oh my God! High end! This is a heavy copy! The teapot and cups are beautiful, the water heater heats up super fast, and there’s also a bathroom heater! The showers are all four in one!
Health: Very clean! Everything is new and clean, the glass is clean and the visibility is very good!
Environment: Superb! You can watch the sunset in the evening and the stars at night! It’s amazing to be able to see a large stretch of terraced fields during the day!
Service: The boss and the landlady are super enthusiastic! We drove here by car, and the boss parked our car for us, recommended routes to us, returned the car, picked us up and took us up and down the mountain, and even sent us to watch the sunrise (20/person). The boss was afraid that we would watch as the sun was setting on the way here. Stop and take photos of us every now and then! When leaving, Lao Wang was so moved that he hugged the boss and said he would come back next time!

The B&B isn't located within the park, but thankfully, they provide a shuttle service.
However, if you want coffee or something to eat, you have to enter the park. This morning, when I left and wanted to buy a cup of coffee, I had to ask them to take me inside. I also found the Dong village quite ridiculous. There's no management, and the entire park is just for photos. And they charge an entrance fee. I definitely won't be back again. Boring.
The stir-fry restaurant within the park is delicious.
Why did I only take pictures of the food? Because this cafe is more comfortable. The food is average, but since all the cafes are travel photos, you really don't have to be so picky when you see one. Hahaha.
In the evening, there's a cake shop with a garden. The coffee is delicious, and the Basque coffee is delicious, but I forgot to take a picture of the name.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom shower was also clean and tidy, with a separate shower and toilet area.
The receptionist provided free pick-up and drop-off service to and from the Dong village. He was always available, punctual, and very helpful!
Inquiries were answered quickly, and the information provided was useful.
I spent a day and a night here, visiting Zhaoxing Dong Village and Tang'an Rice Terraces. I had a wonderful time!

Guest UserChoosing this guesthouse during your trip to Zhaoxing Dong Village is definitely the right decision; the stay was excellent.
They offer one free pick-up/drop-off service from the high-speed rail station, making your trip hassle-free.
The owner is very welcoming and helped with your luggage upstairs. You can ask him to recommend restaurants in the village, and you might even get a discount.
The owner previously came to Guiyang as a volunteer teacher and is also a photographer. If you need travel photography services, feel free to contact him. Be bold and chat with him to unlock more of his side talents—highly recommended!
The floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views and beautiful scenery, perfect for taking photos.
The rooms are clean and tidy, with interior design that combines ethnic style with modern aesthetics, creating a fresh and interesting atmosphere.
The guesthouse is conveniently located near the entrance to the Dong village and the main street. Because it's separated from the main street by a river and a row of houses, you won't be bothered by noise at night; the natural white noise of the flowing river adds to the tranquility.

Guest UserCons:
- stained towels and bed linen (I wouldn't care, but this hotel is 4 times more expensive than cheap hostels I usually stay in China, so I expect more)
- I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault)
- the staff doesn't speak English
Pros:
- It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing.
- The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :)
- Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China.
- The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate.
- I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.

Yuyetang is a fabulous guesthouse in the midle of the very traditional dong village. We booked the twin room with view and literally slept with views of the drum tower. The room is very clean and decorated lovely. The place is very well looked after and although the location is quite remote, the guesthouse provides a very good standard. The owners are a young couple that supported us in getting a taxi. When we arrived it was the last day of the national holiday and we were invited to join the family rice harvesting, fishing and doing a barbecue.
To get there you can catch a public bus that leaves two times a day from Zhaoxing (25 yuan per person) or you get a taxi (one way 150yuan).

The hotel is in a quiet location close to the main street. The owner is warm and considerate. The wooden structure is very unique and the price is high. Recommended to stay

The service was excellent, the landlady was very friendly and kind. For the price, the facilities and scenery were exceptional, making it very cost-effective. The landlady readily upgraded our room because of the view of the rice paddies from the window. However, there are many hidden costs in this scenic area. Although the owner provided pick-up from the train station, you still need to pay an additional 20 yuan to get to the high-speed rail station. Parking at the entrance costs 20 yuan, and the daily entrance fee is 80 yuan. If you want to visit the rice terraces, you need to pay for a sightseeing bus. Personally, I didn't find any good food inside the scenic area.
In short, unless you have a strong fascination with the architecture of Guizhou's ethnic minorities, I wouldn't recommend coming here.

B&Bs are all on stilts, and the wooden houses are not well insulated, so I just randomly booked this one. If you have trouble sleeping, you can choose to stay in a higher room or live outside the Dong Village. We live on the fourth floor. As soon as we entered the door of the B&B, the grandma who embroidered the sachets said to me ”Here we come” and it made me feel very warm. The boss will also pick us up at the entrance of Dong Village and help us carry our luggage. The landlady will wash and lay out the sheets and help us carry our luggage upstairs. He also asked us to walk softly, be quiet and respect each other. The room has plenty of hot water and the air conditioner is new. The location in the middle of the village is very lively. I thought it would be noisy when there was a bar singing at night, but it was okay. It's just that the height of the toilet room is low, and the roof leaks a little when it rains all the time. Before I left, I told the boss lady and she apologized to me🤦♀️ At night I only heard the sound of rain and the sounds of cats and roosters. When I woke up in the morning and opened the window, I saw rain hitting the tiles, and a kitten came to say hello. It feels like a family house. We are very careful when staying in it and even help to clean it up when leaving. I casually booked a B&B for a hundred yuan, and it turned out to be the most cost-effective B&B I’ve ever stayed in in Guizhou.
