I came to Zhaoxing Dong Village specifically to experience the Dong New Year and immerse myself in its festive atmosphere. The guesthouse is located near the Lituan Drum Tower; it's easy to find using a map, and the main street is just a short walk away. The rooms were clean and tidy, with all necessary toiletries provided. It was very quiet at night, and the landlady was warm and friendly. The Dong New Year parade, the traditional rice-making activity, the long table banquet, the Lusheng (a type of reed pipe instrument) competition, and the bonfire party were all part of the vibrant activities. I experienced the customs and traditions of the Dong people in southeastern Guizhou Province – a truly worthwhile trip. Finally, congratulations to the Lituan team for winning the Lusheng competition!

This guesthouse is simply a paradise! The high-speed rail pick-up service was incredibly thoughtful, allowing for a seamless transition into vacation mode right after getting off the train. The owners are as warm and welcoming as family, providing attentive and heartfelt service throughout our stay. The guesthouse faces a vast rice field; opening the window reveals lush greenery, and the air is so fresh it feels purified. Eating breakfast daily in front of this pastoral scenery, enjoying both the food and the view, was pure bliss! The indoor environment is also fantastic, with a simple yet comfortable arrangement of sofas and coffee tables. Sitting by the window, you can take in the beautiful mountain and forest views, with distant traditional buildings and activities on the lawn adding to the charm. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and natural, making it an absolute ideal choice for relaxation!

The B&B isn't located within the park, but thankfully, they provide a shuttle service. However, if you want coffee or something to eat, you have to enter the park. This morning, when I left and wanted to buy a cup of coffee, I had to ask them to take me inside. I also found the Dong village quite ridiculous. There's no management, and the entire park is just for photos. And they charge an entrance fee. I definitely won't be back again. Boring. The stir-fry restaurant within the park is delicious. Why did I only take pictures of the food? Because this cafe is more comfortable. The food is average, but since all the cafes are travel photos, you really don't have to be so picky when you see one. Hahaha. In the evening, there's a cake shop with a garden. The coffee is delicious, and the Basque coffee is delicious, but I forgot to take a picture of the name.

Choosing this guesthouse during your trip to Zhaoxing Dong Village is definitely the right decision; the stay was excellent. They offer one free pick-up/drop-off service from the high-speed rail station, making your trip hassle-free. The owner is very welcoming and helped with your luggage upstairs. You can ask him to recommend restaurants in the village, and you might even get a discount. The owner previously came to Guiyang as a volunteer teacher and is also a photographer. If you need travel photography services, feel free to contact him. Be bold and chat with him to unlock more of his side talents—highly recommended! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer expansive views and beautiful scenery, perfect for taking photos. The rooms are clean and tidy, with interior design that combines ethnic style with modern aesthetics, creating a fresh and interesting atmosphere. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the entrance to the Dong village and the main street. Because it's separated from the main street by a river and a row of houses, you won't be bothered by noise at night; the natural white noise of the flowing river adds to the tranquility.

The address of the B&B is in Zhongzhai, just a minute’s walk past the Internet celebrity tower P1! There are a lot of food and drinks at the door. Since it is a little far away from the main street, it is very quiet. It is quiet in the bustle. You can have a good sleep at night. The room is also very big. The boss is a super nice sister. I came to stay alone and just in time. I went to her house for steamed sweet potatoes, and for free I got the taro and sweet potatoes from the shop owner’s sister’s house 🍠 When I came back from watching the iron flower in the evening, I happened to meet the shop owner’s sister after finishing her meal, and invited me to eat with her. I tried the local specialty beef soup, hot and sour, delicious! Her dog pudding is so good! Super cute like a doll 🧸The drone fried chicken at night. My sister also helped contact the police and picked up the drone for me. The store is so easy to mess with. I will stay here again next time I come! !

Location of the hotel was really good, right next to the performance venue and about 10 minutes by foot from the drop off point of the shuttle bus. I liked the wooden interior or the room and the helpful staff. The only negative point would be that the room was really cold. The air conditioning worked on full power, but was not able to heat the room comfortably.

The room is big, the view is great, the balcony is the most comfortable, there is a stream outside the window, it is so pleasant to enjoy the view on the balcony at night, eat and drink, it is very close to the main street, but very quiet, quiet in the bustling, the children like it very much and don't want to leave, the proprietress is gentle and easy to talk to

Service was good aswell, though you had to call a number as there was no one at the desk permanently.

B&Bs are all on stilts, and the wooden houses are not well insulated, so I just randomly booked this one. If you have trouble sleeping, you can choose to stay in a higher room or live outside the Dong Village. We live on the fourth floor. As soon as we entered the door of the B&B, the grandma who embroidered the sachets said to me ”Here we come” and it made me feel very warm. The boss will also pick us up at the entrance of Dong Village and help us carry our luggage. The landlady will wash and lay out the sheets and help us carry our luggage upstairs. He also asked us to walk softly, be quiet and respect each other. The room has plenty of hot water and the air conditioner is new. The location in the middle of the village is very lively. I thought it would be noisy when there was a bar singing at night, but it was okay. It's just that the height of the toilet room is low, and the roof leaks a little when it rains all the time. Before I left, I told the boss lady and she apologized to me🤦‍♀️ At night I only heard the sound of rain and the sounds of cats and roosters. When I woke up in the morning and opened the window, I saw rain hitting the tiles, and a kitten came to say hello. It feels like a family house. We are very careful when staying in it and even help to clean it up when leaving. I casually booked a B&B for a hundred yuan, and it turned out to be the most cost-effective B&B I’ve ever stayed in in Guizhou.
