It's worth coming here. The terraces are green in this season. It just rained when I went there. The air is very fresh. The terraces and trees have just been bathed. They are very green. Let's talk about the hotel environment and facilities. There are many local specialties on the menu of the restaurant on the first floor, which can meet the needs of tasting local food. The boss, Sister Hu, said that the vegetables are all local and pure green, and they are delicious. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting, the layout is warm, and there are ornaments on the doors. It's not gorgeous or vulgar (it's also possible to see the beautiful scenery and feel good to see everything. Hehehe). The front desk and service staff: very friendly and considerate. The one who impressed me the most was Sister Hu. As a j person, I don't make plans and go wherever I go. I choose to come to Canada just to get extra pounds. I didn't think about where to go later. I talked to Sister Hu while eating. She helped me plan it and recommended me to go to Xiayao. The drive is just over 40 minutes. There is a Chinese wine on the tip of the tongue. It tastes very good. Thank you Sister Hu for the recommendation. By the way, let me say Jiapian, the scenery is beautiful and the facilities are very complete. It should be more beautiful in July and August when the terraces turn yellow. I look forward to coming again then 😁 I heard that the No. 3 platform is the sunrise viewing platform. GGuest UserCharming place, excellent location. Room is nice, it’s ok to make do with the small bathroom. After all it’s only for one night. Beautiful views from the window. Didn’t see sea of clouds but was greeted with a beautiful sunrise. Boss and wife are helpful, he helped to book a taxi for me to go to the train station. Would recommend.

After going around the mountain for eighteen bends, we finally arrived. It was night when we arrived and we were unfamiliar with the place, so we were very nervous.
We were the only family staying there that day, and I guess most of the business was taken away by the homestays at the entrance of Jiabang Terraces.
The room we booked did not include breakfast. We arrived after 9pm and there was no dinner, so we had to try our luck at the shop next door. Fortunately, the kind lady boss shared food with us.
The facilities in the house are relatively simple. There is no toilet, but there is a squatting toilet in the shower area. Basic toiletries and slippers are provided. The bed is relatively hard and has an electric blanket. The nights at the end of March are still very cold.
In the morning, you will be woken up by the crowing of chickens outside the house, and experience the rural life. I discussed with the boss lady in the morning and got a bowl of noodles. The fried egg was especially delicious!
We started visiting the terraced fields in the morning. After going up the stairs opposite the hotel and turning right, there was an observation deck. We could visit several major terraced fields along the way, which was very convenient.

The scenic area shuttle bus stopped running, but we put down our luggage and walked downhill all the way to the No. 3 viewing platform, and then returned. When we went back, the landlady's native chicken was already cooked, and the fried vegetables were also very tasty. Since we are here, we should make the best of it. As long as we are not working, we are happy anywhere. When we open the window, we are in nature, which is very healing. The landlady is a very straightforward person, with quick hands and feet, clean bedding, and the rain is very strong, so we don't have any bad feelings.

The food street is opposite the store. There is a pharmacy next to it. There is a supermarket and a square. It is a 10-minute drive from the hotel to the Shamiao Village. FFed2Very nice stay for a quick 1 night stopover.
The property is right by the train station, which is what I was looking for to be able to catch an early morning train.
In terms of location it really depends what you are looking for, surely there's not much to do around and it felt like being in a very remote authentic village, so it's a nice experience but if you have a car it's definitely a plus.
The owner doesn't speak English but he's been very nice and accommodating.
The room is simple with squat toilet but it has everything and it's absolutely clean and comfortable.
