With a stay at Raniban Retreat in Pokhara, you'll be near the airport, within a 15-minute drive of Phewa Lake and World Peace Stupa. This family-friendly hotel is 2.1 mi (3.4 km) from Pumdikot Shiva Statue and 2.9 mi (4.6 km) from Gupteshwor Cave. Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a sauna. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless internet access, babysitting, and tour/ticket assistance. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the 10 individually decorated guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Private bathrooms with showers feature hair dryers and bathrobes. Conveniences include phones, as well as desks and separate sitting areas.

"Facilities: Generally good. Being on the mountain, the electricity can be unstable at times, with occasional power outages, but it's usually restored quickly. The road leading to the hotel is very winding, especially the last 50 meters, which is a super bumpy dirt slope. A taxi from the hotel to the airport costs around 2000 rupees, and to the city center, it's about 1200 rupees. Cleanliness: Acceptable, neat and clean. Environment: Absolutely beautiful. It was the most therapeutic day I spent in Pokhara. Checking in in the afternoon, you can see Phewa Lake and the World Peace Pagoda, though not the Fishtail Mountain (Machapuchare). At night, you can enjoy the city's night view. Waking up to a sea of clouds in the morning, you can see Fishtail Mountain right from the balcony – it's stunning and truly felt healing. Service: Warm and polite, the staff are very friendly. We ate at the restaurant; breakfast was a buffet, and for dinner, we had curry rice, which also tasted great 😌. Overall, I highly recommend staying here 😊"

"I stayed here for 1 night then left to hike and then came back for another night. One of the most impressive hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. Professionalism is 10/10 from the security guard to the restaurant waiters to the receptionists to the manager Rozeena. Everybody was just going out of their way. Food was great (I had the chicken tandoori), the hotel has a genuinely good aesthetic with the pool and the lake view. The location is great (ATMs right nearby). The rooms are clean and neat. Hot water ran fine. Bed was soft. Live music in the restaurant. Great guard dog (golden retriever). My final day activity ran over time and they even let me check out a little later after notifying them in the morning. Big breakfast buffet that also runs pretty early so was able to get it both days. They have their own airport shuttle too which was cost effective and easily arranged. Pretty much every box ticked. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting the area and I will definitely be back when I visit Pokhara again."

Chinese people choose carefully. I feel that this second-ranked list is really not worth it. It should be a swipe. I spent 1,500 to book a room. The same price is far different from the Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu. The price is at the level of a five-star hotel. Except that the hotel is close to the lake, there are not many highlights. The rooms are shabby and small. The food is not delicious and rich. If you have dinner, it is very expensive at your own expense. I wanted to go out to the Peace Pagoda and asked the hotel how much the fare was. I was told directly at the door that the hotel had a car and the price was 3500 round trip. I thought it was a bit expensive, so I went directly to the opposite side of the lake to find a black car and the price was 2000. It was a big difference. Twice as much. I really don’t recommend it and I probably won’t book with them again. But there was one highlight that impressed me deeply. The ferry uncle and the security guard were really nice, kind and gentle.

Absolutely stunning mountain views, we even got to see the 'golden mountains' at sunrise, which was breathtaking. The room facilities were great, everything you could need and all in good condition. The roasted nuts they provided daily were especially delicious. The staff were very nice, and most importantly, the chef's food was genuinely delicious. We stayed two nights, had two dinners and one lunch, and it cost a total of 840 RMB. It really was incredibly tasty! Every room has a balcony where you can see Machapuchare (Fish Tail Mountain). The 4th-floor pool and observation deck offer even better views than the rooms, so if you want to take photos in the morning, head up to the fourth floor. Taxis are a bit pricey, but you can also take the cable car down the mountain, though it's a bit of an effort. But then again, the mountain views are worth it!

This is a very nice hotel...great location, great views, and a kind staff. While the free buffet breakfast is good, it's no where near 5 star... it's more like 3 star. with a very limited selection of food. I enjoyed Pokhara so much that I decided to stay an extra week, and when I asked about rates booking directly with the hotel, they seemed arrogant and disinterested... saying there was no discount for booking directly with them. So I left and booked another hotel right on the lake , larger room and same buffet breakfast...for much less money. If you want to pay more for less, stay here.

Very nice hotel. Good location just a walking distance to central bus station and a big park near the lake. I was there for one night only, the room was on the top floor, spacious, clean and comfortable, the city view was nice but unfortunately it was very foggy in the morning and during the day and the snowy himalaya mountain ranges were not in sight at all (bad timing🙁). The staff services were great, very helpful and attentive (especially Mr.Milan Aryal 👍). The food from resto (pasta) was also very nice and tasty. Keep up the great work and surely will stay at snow peak hotel if ever go back to Pokhara! Cheers...

The hotel is not bad for the money. But it's certainly not 4 stars. There is no safe in the room, no disposable slippers. But the bed is nice and the balcony is great. Breakfast is until 9.30 and very simple. Americano is only available for an additional fee. The service is generally normal, but nothing outstanding. It would be more correct to honestly indicate that it is 3 stars, then reality would match expectations.

Located at the center of Lakeside road. Very traditional design but only have two towels in the room and they look a bit dirty. On the official website it’s written “free airport transfer”, we have asked the reception staff and have been told this service need additional charge. We asked the clarification of the service written on the official website but the staff said “I dun know”. The next day morning we reached to the manager, and has been told this service needs to be reserve one day in advanced and only applicable to the reservation through their official website. If we book through any other online platforms this service wont be available. Caz we extended for one more night and didn’t go through the online platforms, I thought we are eligible for the transfer. Well, this is already a middle class hotel in Pokhara but I don’t find it worth with the service. They should anyway inform the customer during check-in. Also not enough training for the front line staff. Lack of consistency.

Very good hotel, did not bargain 300 rupees from the airport. Keep at the beginning of Fewa Lake. Next to the commercial street, there are goods to eat and sell. A 5-minute walk along the lake is the cruise ship pier, which takes 20 minutes to reach the widest water surface of Fewa Lake. The top of the hotel can clearly see the towering snow-capped mountains. It is generally clear in the morning and is covered by clouds after noon. The hotel has its own car and driver to rent, the price is not compared, but it should be more reliable than the taxi on the street. When we went out, we encountered thunderstorms. The driver was always with us, and the psychological situation was much more practical. Good environment, breakfast, free delivery to the airport.
