Even though I saw many positive reviews before booking, I didn't set my expectations too high. It was only after staying here that I truly understood what 'exceeds expectations' means. Every single staff member, without exception, offered genuine greetings and provided excellent service. Their service mentality absolutely surpasses that of any hotel of the same caliber, or even higher-end brands, back home. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, and despite the crowd, everything was well-organized and managed seamlessly. It's clear they put a lot of thought into it, and even during the busiest times, the staff's enthusiasm for service remained consistently high, which left a fantastic impression! The room cleaning and maintenance were superb. I particularly loved the extra-long sofa, and the shower pressure was excellent. We had almost all our dinners at the hotel. The à la carte dishes and desserts at Soiree were of extremely high quality. The prices for food and drinks of comparable quality are practically a third of what you'd pay in Shanghai. All in all, this was truly an outstanding choice; the value for money is top-notch. And of course, beyond the hotel, I found that almost everyone we encountered in Yogyakarta was incredibly simple, warm, and welcoming, which made for a wonderful experience. This place is definitely worth a visit!

clean room, from the room you can see the view of Mount Merapi, the bed, pillows, blankets are comfortable, there is a kettle with a refillable drinking water bottle...it would be better if there was a dispenser in the floor room to refill the glass bottle of drinking water. the bathroom is clean even though the towels are no longer white. the food menu is delicious, next to the ballroom there is a prayer room with a comfortable ablution area. continued success for Grand Tjokro

Guest UserEverything was just the best! The food was delicious and varied, you definitely won't leave hungry. The service was super quick and efficient, the staff were on the ball. Oh, and one more thing: you absolutely have to go for a swim. It's so refreshing, especially while watching the planes fly by!

Anonymous UserMy stay at Loman Park Hotel was adequate, but the property appears to be showing its age and would benefit from significant maintenance and refurbishment.
While the staff were generally pleasant and the location was convenient, many of the facilities and amenities felt run down and poorly maintained. The overall condition of the hotel gave the impression that routine upkeep has not been a priority for some time.
In particular, the room furnishings showed noticeable wear and tear. The towels provided were frayed and worn out, and several cushions in the room and common areas appeared aged, flattened, and overdue for replacement. These details detracted from the comfort and quality one would expect from a hotel of this standard.
A more concerning issue was the hygiene of the bottled drinking water containers provided in the room. Upon inspection, black mould-like growth was visible on the silicone stoppers of the glass bottles. This raised serious concerns about cleaning procedures and attention to sanitation standards. Given that these containers are intended for drinking water, this was particularly disappointing and undermined confidence in the hotel's overall hygiene practices.
Overall, Loman Park Hotel offers a functional stay, but the deteriorating condition of the facilities, lack of maintenance, and hygiene concerns mean that there is considerable room for improvement. With greater attention to refurbishment, cleanliness, and replacement of worn amenities, the guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

Guest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, after two stays, I still haven't had the chance to experience the rooftop vibes (maybe next time). In terms of location, it's not as strategic as its sister properties, but I like the neighborhood because it's close to a minimarket and also near my old university. Usually, it's easy to find food in this area, but since I stayed during the Eid holiday, it was a bit harder to find. For those looking for a place to stay in Jogja, I recommend this hotel because the rooms, facilities, etc., are all great. I got room 601, which has a view of the main road. Oh, and I'd like to thank the helpful staff for lending me a hot water kettle because I didn't realize my room didn't come with tea/coffee amenities. I actually had a sore throat at the time and needed warm water. So, for those who want tea/coffee, please get it above Starsleep, because those rooms definitely won't have tea/coffee, hehehe. A small suggestion for the security/valet staff: a warmer smile for guests would be great so that a comfortable vibe is felt even before reaching the front desk, as they are, after all, the frontline at the hotel's entrance. Thank you! ✌️♡

Guest UserThe service was quite good, especially when we wanted to move rooms for a better view. However, when we wanted an early check-in (they said it was possible if the rooms weren't full), it took quite a while to get a room, considering there were only a few guests staying that day.
The downside was that when we wanted to request mirror art for a birthday treat, we were charged 150,000 Rupiah for it. Every hotel we've visited never charges a fee unless there's an additional cake or something else. And even borrowing a bowl cost 25,000 Rupiah, which was a shame.

The location is quite remote, far from all attractions and Yogyakarta International Airport. The hygiene wasn't great either; the bath towels were blackened, and the facilities were old. Breakfast also cost extra. It's not really worth staying here (I mistakenly thought the airport nearby was Yogyakarta International Airport when I booked).
