Fengeros Village
"Well what can I say, me and my wife have just had the most amazing stay at Fengeros Village. Stamos the owner takes care of his guests with passion and from the heart. What a lovely man, then the staff wow so pleasant nothing any trouble to help and serve the guests again all from the heart. We found the rooms lovely clean bedding everyday room cleaned to a very high standard everyday, the bar restaurant area was lovely great atmosphere, the pool was always available not over crowded all able to get sun beds. I have read some negative reviews personally I find them quite unfair against the owner and of Fengeros Village. But I accept people have their own opinions. Me and my wife can't wait to visit Stamos and Fengeros Village soon. Again we thank you for making our stay amazing. Derek Savage."
Alkyon
"We had a wonderful stay at the Alkyon Hotel. The hotel itself was lovely, with a great location and excellent food throughout our stay. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, helping to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. A special mention must go to Marios, who was our favourite member of staff. He took the time to chat with us every morning at breakfast and genuinely seemed to make an effort to speak to all of the guests. His friendly personality and excellent customer service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the evening meals in the adjoining restaurant – the food was delicious and the setting was lovely. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to return. Highly recommended!"
Pettite Morfo
"Positive points: A super location, family running small 1star hotel, traditional breakfast with Greek yogurt. Negative points: 1. Changed towels only once during 7 days stay, I requested cleaning service only on Thursday and Saturday but the cleaned towels were just given on Friday. The owner told me this is not 4 or 5 stars hotel( We travelled a lot at least 3 times per year, this is the 1st time live in hotel under 3 stars, no idea how it works) 2. The shower head can’t be hanged properly, did tell the owner but wasn’t fixed then we had to use string to hold it for 7 days. paid £74 British pounds per night, I thought it is cheap for the location in Skiathos town, so we got what we paid: broken bathroom window net, tiny strange layout of bathroom- when taking a shower you get everything wet; loud creaking noise of bed frame whenever you change position; hard springs mattress not comfortable ; you are not allowed to adjust the air-conditioner temperature, it will be always 26 degree, cold in one room and hot in other room, couldn’t sleep well; TV isn’t working, be aware of no kettle in this hotel, hair dryer is tiny and it took ages to dry hair (if you have long and thick hair) 3. Room 202, Not quiet room, often hear the very loud noise of door slamming and banging, there are kids screaming and running noise from earlier morning. 4. The owner lives in the top floor, I only requested cleaning 2 times Thursday and Saturday during 7 days stay, but Sometimes the owner entered our room and left windows opened without us knowing, there are a lot of mosquitoes that came in when the door and windows were opened, we have been bitten all over, even though we bought 3 bottles of flyers killer spray, all are wasted.( there isn’t “no disturb sign hanger” in this hotel) you have to bear in mind the owner can come in the room sometimes when you are away. 5. The hotel policy “ don’t leave the card “ for electricity when you leave the room. Otherwise you must be told off if you forgot twice, first time I was told off when we went downstairs for breakfast for just 15mins on the 1st morning. 6. Then we were told off again when we went to have quick dinner and forgot card in for 1 hour between 8-9pm on 3rd night. The owner asked me “WHY? WHY?…You left key card? No one did it and only you! …“ we have paid to live in hotel not students home stay ! We always took card when we went out day time. We felt like we were spied on for every moment, didnt feel comfortable since that night. it doesn’t matter how many stars the hotel is, We need to be treated with the respect. 10. Check in issue- you must check in as soon as your flight arrives, we checked in at 7:30pm because our flight landed at 4:30pm, we told her that we went plane spotting and had something to eat because we had no time to eat during the flight, but she said “ you need come hotel first then do other things because I’m waiting for you!” 11. There was no option for me to change hotel at the peak season "
Giabeos
Radisson Resort Skiathos
"We had to book and check in to a hotel with availability after our skiathos flight was cancelled. We found the Radisson and it proved fine. Clean and comfortable, the accommodation is plain but of a good standard (very white and new). The staff were very good and breakfast was excellent with a fantastic choice. However we slept poorly since the emergency exit light in the accessible room we had was so bright it was like daylight all night. There was no way to turn it down or off. Other guests said they had the same experience and this impacted sleep quality."
Forest Resort Suites Skiathos
"Excellent location, a 10-minute drive from the center and the most beautiful beaches, in a quiet, elevated position. The remote location also made it quite cool, and we never turned on the air conditioning in four days. Spotlessly clean rooms with a kitchenette and plenty of space. A plus are the mosquito nets on all windows, allowing for fresh air and keeping out insects, even with the lights on at night. The owners are very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended."
Asteri Studios
"I stayed there for two weeks in June. Good value for money. I stayed in an apartment for three people on the second floor with a magnificent view of Skiathos town and the sea. The kitchen has everything you need for breakfast. The bathroom, while small, has a large shower, albeit with a curtain. You can wash without flooding the area outside the shower. There's always hot water, and no suds come out of the shower drain (a pleasant and rare thing in budget apartments in Greece!). Sheets are changed every day, towels every three days, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The overall cleanliness is excellent, and the outdoor area is well-maintained. The location is quiet, away from the chaos and noise of the city. I recommend having your own transportation (car, scooter, etc.) to reach these studios. Eleni and her son are always available and kind. Recommended! I was there for two weeks in June. Good value for money. I stayed in an apartment for three people on the second floor with a magnificent view of Skiathos town and the sea. There is the essential thing for making breakfast at the kitchen level. The bathroom, although small, has a large shower, albeit with a curtain. You can wash yourself without flooding the area outside the shower tray. There is always hot water and no foam comes out of the bathroom well (which is pleasant and rare in cheap apartments in Greece!). Sheets are changed every day, towels every 3 days and the rooms are cleaned daily. Excellent level of general cleanliness and well-kept external environment. The place is quiet, away from the city chaos and city noise. I recommend having your own transport (car, scooters, etc...) to reach these "Studios". Eleni and her son are always available and kind. Hotel Rene
"The service was very neat. When checking in, the front desk checked the documents and did not delay the procedures. He also asked if he wanted to postpone the check-out until 2 pm, saying that business guests often need buffer time, which is very intimate. One morning, I forgot to bring the charger for the meeting, called the front desk, and sent the adapter in 5 minutes, no delay."

Villa Kavourakia
"Wonderful place, owner present, available and hospitable. Simple room but with attention to detail. Excellent cleanliness. View from the terrace on the sea phenomenal! Possibility to eat in the room given the presence of everything necessary. Excellent value for money! And finally beautiful garden, also with attention to detail! Excellent value for money!"
Magic Hotel
"No communication!!! Awful hote!!!!l they refuse to communicate with English speakers. I have sent multiple emails over weeks and no response. I spent 10,000 euro for 8 people and they refuse to respond to simple questions.....they do not care about their customers!!!"
Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel
"Our first visit Skiathos and definitely not the last. What a place! We booked the Mandraki village for our 10 day honeymoon. On arrival the lady with blonde hair (her name escapes me) was very welcoming and spoke with us each day after that. All staff were very friendly as are most Greek people everywhere. We checked in and had a welcome drink which was a nice touch. The hotel is charming and set in beautiful gardens. The room was nice and clean with comfortable bed however it was a little small but we were just so happy to be there we didn’t mind. We spent very little time in the room tbh. Aircon was great! We arrived on a Tuesday so it was BBQ night- don’t miss that! We stayed BnB but did eat a couple of times at the hotel and all food was good quality. Cocktails are €12 which is generally the average price locally, Breakfast had everything we needed and was the same everyday. Maybe need to add another coffee machine as that was busy every morning. Pool was relaxing with plenty of beds and shade. It was very quiet- guests during our first 6 days didn’t really speak to anyone or each other for that matter so it was dead silent at the pool which isn’t really our vibe. However guests that arrived later in the week were more friendly. This place is for exploring- please don’t waste your days by the pool get up and get out! So much beauty to see! Plenty of beaches within walking distance and through stunning woodland. Busses are so regular and from right outside the hotel. The hotel is at bus stop 23. When you arrive in Skiathos on the bus- buy your return ticket from the kiosk. Later busses are very busy! We didn’t get a single Taxie. We booked a mama Mia boat trip but asked if we could stay in Skopelos over night and return the next day- I booked an air BnB for €50 so that we could experience the other island. We hired a moped for €30 and traveled to Milia beach- stunning! Be sure to book a boat that docks at the mama Mia church beach rather as some boat trips require you to get to the church via bus. Koukounaries beach was beautiful- beds at the beach bar are $40 to $50 for the day. Our favourite beach was Elias beach which is a 25 min walk from the hotel- it has clear waters and a rustic beach bar with food and drink - Cash only! We didn’t have a bad meal anywhere. Meals out ranged from €70 to €90 each evening. Skiathos has some beautiful restaurants especially the ones on the sea to the left. Lots of lovely shops. All in all the best trip we have had in years- great people, great food and lots of adventure. If you are up and about early you will fit so much in to your trip. Thank you Mandraki and all of the staff are amazing and work so hard."
Princess Resort, Santikos Collection
"Wow, where to start! My wife and I have just returned from an amazing two weeks at the Princess resort. It’s everything that the Hotel advertises, plus more! The whole resort is traditional Greek look and feel, plus super clean, modern facilities, amazing food, fantastic location and beach. We were in the block where reception was would recommend third floor great views of Hotel Gardens and the sea. You can understand why most of the cast and crew stayed here for the filming of Mamma Mia! Loads of amazing restaurants, Taverna and bars easily accessible right outside the hotel. recommend Vesuvio, Symposio, and infinity blue! Great restaurants in Skiathos town: Bakaliko, the windmill and La dokolla. Number 16 bus stop is almost right outside the hotel too, so really easy access to all parts of the island, 2.20 euro each way, per person. Staff are all absolutely fantastic. Attentive to your needs, super friendly, always polite. Too many staff to mention all of them but But here some call outs: Elpida - waitress at breakfast and around the pool. Constantinos - really helpful front desk Marina - waitress at the breakfast Alsley - at the beach bar/restaurant. Mr Shafique - manager. Thank you all, you are a credit to the Hotel. Can’t wait to book again!"
Elivi Skiathos
"I wish I could give the Elivi a ‘6’ - the place is amazing with very welcoming staff. I found they could not do enough for us. This is our fourth time staying at the Elivi and it is such a relaxing place with beautiful beaches and views."
Cape Kanapitsa Hotel & Suites
"Loved it!!!! Great room, amazing views. Everyone was lovely, the lady on reception, George who helped us with our cases to the room. The lady and gentleman who appeared at breakfast to tidy away our plates and finally the barman who served us afternoon Mythos and helped us with our Greek pronunciation. Felt very posh but completely relaxed, we did not want to come home!!!!!"
Kassandra Bay Resort, Suites & Spa
"We got married at Kassandra in 2011 and returned to celebrate our anniversary. We had a lovely stay at Kassandra once again. The beach, the rooms, the food, and the service are fantastic."
Mystery Skiathos Luxury Residence
"My daughter and I absolutely loved staying at Mystery! Our Deluxe Suite with Panoramic view was so spacious! We enjoyed the pool area, morning breakfast, and afternoon cocktails. And the food onsite at Savour was delicious! But it was the staff that made our stay here memorable! The manager Katarina was beyond helpful… always helping us arrange taxi’s, telling us how to use the bus system, and even accommodating us for an extra night after our ferry got cancelled. Other staff were also attentive, fun, and even shared with us their favorite beach on the island. We felt like family… we did not want to leave. I would highly recommend staying here, and hope to return again someday."
Villa Maraki
"Absolutely brilliant.Lovely spacious apartment.Clean and air-conditioned.loads of tavernas and restaurants within a stones throw.Nice pool and plenty of beds and parasols.Chilled glasses for that mythos hydration. And the most important person i should talk about who made our holiday special is Eva.Wow she never stops. From the meet and greet to the farewell.I have so much love and admiration for that woman. We will definitely be back next year.xxxxThanx Eva.love martin and steff"
Skiathos Thalassa, Philian Hotels and Resorts
"The hotel is right on the beach close to Skiathos town - 15 minutes walk up and over the hill to the old town. The hotel also has a pool - great for me because I hate sand and sticky seawater! The hotel was a good standard with a spacious bedroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And of course Skiathos is a magical island."
Skiathos Thalassa Cape, Philian Hotels and Resorts
"The hotel is lovely. We stayed in the Thallasa Cape with the swimming pool. The room was modern and good aircon. The staff are exceptional. Very helpful. Breakfast is a good selection of food. Everything is fresh and the coffee can be made to order. The breakfast room overlooks the sea. The beach is clean and you can reserve sunbeds at reception. There are so many lovely beaches on the island. It's worth the money to have such a great location. It's a 15min walk into the town which is vibrant and has something for everyone. We stayed bed and breakfast and tried a few different places for dinner. My tip would be to get into the back streets of the old town and try a restaurant. They were fantastic. Explore on the bus. The closest is bus stop 5. It's a great way to get around. Everyone is very friendly."
