"I would not advise to book this place because their adverts are unclear about the lack of bathrooms in the room. The site misleads guests to book a room for 2 with bathroom when I fact this not available. When surfing the site it is visible but when booking this is not! Furthermore, I was quoted a few of 800 NOK but on booking it charges 900 NOK. Has good hygiene standards but is certainly not value for money. I would recommend the cabin further down the road when in fact you get an entire house with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms for just 500 NOK more."

"The room is very large compared to European rooms. There is a bathtub for a comfortable soak during business trips. The facilities are not old. The hotel has a sense of design. There is an underground parking lot and there is also a parking lot across the road."

But the hotel still takes different customs into consideration, and everyone is allowed to wear swimsuits to enter the swimming pool and take a hot spring bath."

"We stumbled upon this place by accident - it's south of Oslo about 40 minutes or so & the hotel is 10 or 15 minutes west of the E6. The hotel is secluded we did not see any other businesses nearby. The rooms were nice - I believe there are only 40 rooms, the hotel was built in 2020. Breakfast was great & it appears some of the food served was sourced from the property. The gardens are incredible - I imagine people travel to this hotel just to tour the gardens. It was a short 15 minute walk to the waterfront to see Edvard Munch's Villa. There was lots to do on the property - you could spend a day just touring the property, distillery, museum, waterfront. We will stay there again when we visit Norway."
