"Corina Bautista 5/5 2 minutes ago on Google We initially booked a different place through Booking and it ended up to be not what was promoted so we refused to stay there and start looking for a different place. I called the Împăratul Romanilor hotel. MADALINA at the front desk answered the phone and helped us. She is the sweetest human being who made our entire stay so pleasant. The hotel has so many breakfast choices and it is included. The location of the hotel is right next to the big square walking distance from everything. We had an amazing time and we will definitely be back."

Hotel overall was clean and large, served us a yummy buffet breakfast-it was a feast!!! The rooms are more than equipped with lots of ideas a traveller may need. Location could not have been better. The parking was a 6minute walk away in the ‘legal courts’ car park and was 50LEI for an overnight"

"This review is for the spa only, we didn't stay at the hotel but rather bought a day pass to use the spa. Online the hours are posted as 2 - 9 PM, over the phone 10 - 9 PM. Over the phone we were told we could book services after 1:30 PM. When we got there I was given a menu of services to choose from. I started looking at facials and the lady said there are no facials available. I started looking at massages and she said only one type is available (head, shoulders). Why didn't they say anything on the phone about not being able to provide service? Why even hand me the menu? Two rooms were out of service (infrared and steam room). The women's bathroom didn't have any toilet paper. We were told there were no more towels (they are in the laundry) and that in 10 minutes they will bring us some. They brought a robe as a towel substitute? Ummm OK. There is a sign on the changing room door that says "let us know if you are in need of personal items" so I asked for lotion. No lotion was available. At no point did the lady smile or apologize for lacking any of the items. I was understanding at first but as the afternoon went on, I felt frustrated with the cost of the day while not providing the promised service. Life happens but also they should have charged us half off. That was a ridiculous amount of money for what this spa had to offer."

Lift to the floor or stairs close by. Could not fault. Owner sent code for doors. Felt secure and good air con. Large powerful shower, wet room."

"Good service. Quiet location. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The family suite only has a refrigerator, and to get to the bathroom you have to go through one of the two bedrooms. There's no elevator. The location is remote; transportation is required to get to the historic center. Breakfast was generally good."
