Hermanns Hotel & SPA Sibiu

Really recommend the location, the SPAc restaurant and staff were amazing.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms but a bit far from the center. The breakfast was very good and the staff was nice. However, for a 4 star hotel I would except some more amenities. For instance, you had to pay extra for the pool and there was no coffee or tea provided in the room. Overall it is expensive for what you get.

Clean, with decent service. (A little skeptical about the service of the Asian employees - a little inexperienced - but always kind and helpful) It doesn't have the best location in the city but it's a quiet area. It doesn't have the best breakfast but big plus for fresh oranges! I don't approve of the policy with the spa and pool paid separately

We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed our stay, especially the concert by the Flarmoni orchestra at the black church near the hotel. You can feel the quality of the place from the moment you check in at the front desk. The next day, breakfast was also very healthy and rich, with different options. We would choose to stay at this hotel again if we visit the city.

The hotel has nice rooms, but we've just arrived and spent the last hour and half trying to access the wi-fi network, unsuccessfully... It connects at the reception, but then when you go up to the room the network magically disappears. I asked for another room at the reception, to see if it was a problem of the room they gave us, and was told by the receptionist that it was not possible since the hotel was full, which is a lie because there are several rooms available at their website and at booking too. I also requested the complaint book, mandatory in the European Union, and she told me the hotel doesn't have such a thing. Very strange and nothing helpful or showing concern with attention to client. The only person that tried to help was one staff member that came with me to restart the router at my floor. But it didn't change anything. A 4star hotel that has the services, technology and amenities proper to a 1star one.

In Winter the rooms are too warm and too hot heated and can not be Cooled down. Temperature management is very bad in the rooms and so I can not recommend this hotel... Im Winter sind die Zimmer viel zu warm geheizt und man kann sie nicht runterkühlen.
