The uphill climb from the bus stop to the hotel can be challenging with suitcases, so contact the hotel in advance to arrange for a pick-up at the bus stop. The hotel facilities are clean and tidy, though some areas appear a bit dated. The view of the coast from the room is stunning, and the sunset glow is beautiful. The outdoor onsen is excellent. The breakfast and dinner are decent, though the drinks are a bit unpalatable."

"The hotel is located a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Although it’s a hostel, the room is spacious and includes a safe and a refrigerator. The bedding is clean. There’s no shower in the room, as this is an onsen-style hotel. There’s no kettle in the room either — a shared one is available on the first floor in a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a microwave. The only downside is the absence of a water cooler or filter for drinking water. You have to buy bottled water from a vending machine and pour it into the shared kettle. The view from the window is stunning. The air conditioner is AI-powered — it even talks 😁"
