It was my birthday, and the front desk lady surprised me with a birthday cake. They also quietly upgraded me to a suite, which was a lovely surprise! When we arrived, there was staff directing us where to drive. After parking, a shuttle took us from the parking lot to the hotel lobby entrance. Someone also personally brought our luggage to the room. The room was very clean and quiet, with the bedroom, living room, and bathroom all separated. I particularly liked the toilet design; it was placed behind the door, which is great for privacy if two people are in a hurry – one can get ready while the other uses the toilet. The door also separates the wet area from the main resting area. Welcome fruit: The fruit was fresh and delicious. My friend ate all the grapes before I even got a chance, haha. Hotel photoshoot: It was beautiful! The photographer guided our poses, and the selection assistant gave very professional advice. When I was little, I used to take a set of photos every birthday to remember the occasion, but I stopped once phones could take pictures. It was a wonderful way to commemorate my birthday this year~ Room service offers wontons and special drinks, which are delivered to your room – very convenient. I didn't get a chance to use the gym or pool, but they looked well-equipped. The hotel courtyard views are also exceptionally beautiful~ It's very close to Wukang Road, so it's convenient to go out and explore.

Great location, right in the heart of the French Concession. There is a popular bakery and several nice cafés nearby, so the area is very convenient and pleasant to explore. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop terrace with a very aesthetic atmosphere. The room was clean, housekeeping came every day, and fresh slippers were provided regularly. I also really appreciated having a washing machine with a dryer, as well as a refrigerator in the room. It was also very convenient that bottled water was replenished every day. A special thank you to the girls at the reception. They were extremely professional, kind, and helpful. Whenever we had a request, they responded immediately and made sure the issue was fully resolved. They even helped me arrange a delivery when I accidentally left my backpack behind. Their service made our stay much easier and more comfortable. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

They even went out of their way to arrange a quiet room with a better view, facing the optimal direction. This feeling of being remembered and valued is a kind of warmth that chain hotels simply can't provide. What surprised me most was the moment I opened the door – not only was the room as neat and elegant as always, but there was also a thoughtful box of eye patches placed on the bedside table. For me, Blackstone is no longer just a place to stay; it's a reassuring lifestyle. Thanks to every staff member who works tirelessly behind the scenes, especially the attentive front desk team. Came to Shanghai with my wife, parents, and child—a family of four. I specifically chose this Airbnb because we needed to visit Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Full marks, highly recommended!

As a returning guest, the service is consistently excellent. The room service staff are proactive in greeting you, making you feel like an old friend – very warm and welcoming. The security guards downstairs are very responsible, guiding parking even though the lot is small. Having someone direct you every step of the way makes you feel very safe. I come here often, so I forgot to take photos of the room, but here are a few shots of Shanghai street scenes instead.

Great value for money! Our flight got canceled due to Typhoon Bailu, so we had to stay an extra night. The host mentioned that many flights were grounded and couldn't reach Shanghai, which is why they had available rooms. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. I'll definitely bring my family here next time we travel. The room can sleep 4 people, making it excellent value.

Highly recommended 😍 Four years ago, I stumbled upon this hotel, thinking it was an art gallery... the artistic atmosphere was so strong. This time, I brought my kids, and it was still a beautiful experience. The room was large, clean, comfortable, and had a balcony with a stunning window view... It puts you in a good mood, whether it's rainy or sunny. The breakfast was abundant, with both Chinese and Western options, so much so that I couldn't try everything... The location is great, quiet yet close to all the action. You get an immersive experience of Shanghai life; you can get to almost anywhere you want within 10 minutes by subway, walking, or cycling. The front desk staff spoke so gently, fully showcasing the lovely softness of Wuyue speech... It was an exceptionally good trip, and I will definitely come again ❤️

This was my second stay, and I've successfully recommended it to my friends too. The hotel has its own garden and is housed in a building from the last century. Despite its age, the hygiene is excellent. The only downside was the showerhead. It's very quiet and super close to Hengshan Road Metro Station. There are several restaurants and cafes nearby, so you could easily spend a leisurely day just exploring the vicinity. All in all, I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai.

This hotel is on the street and quite easy to find, although the entrance is a bit small. Honestly, the room is also quite small, but that's typical for this area and price. It was cleaned very well. The soundproofing could be better, but everything else was fine.

Upon arrival, there was a somewhat complicated issue that could only be resolved via WeChat. The room was spacious, quiet, and relatively clean. The service was excellent: the owner responded to messages quickly, helped change the room number, and extended our stay in the same room.
