very safe place for a solo traveller. it’s a decent size, room is comfy enough. just 10 mins walk from jing an station. staffs are all very friendly. stayed 4 nights here, the only bad experience was the final night where the room was cleaned but amenities were not topped up, even the floor mat was not given. but small matter, overall experience has been great. would definitely recommend this hotel! feedback for hotel, do check the speaker as it gets annoying that it keeps on notifying me that it’s low on battery when it’s fully plugged in

Staffs are very nice. This is a safe and clean hotel.The service is excellent. The free laundry service is so great for customers specially in summer because we sweat a lot everyday, but no need worry about clean clothes. The buffet breakfast is good, many choices including Shanghai food. I am very expressive with the night snack provided in hotel when I arrived on the first night. The yunton soup tastes so delicious when I was so tired and hungry to go out for some food. The entrance to WuDing subway station is only 100 metres far away from the hotel, very convenient to take the public transit in Shanghai.

This hotel is super close to the high-speed rail station, and the environment is fantastic. The front desk staff, a lovely young lady, was incredibly warm, polite, and provided excellent service. The room was clean, hygienic, and had a great design. The latex mattress was super comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – no outside disturbance at all! The breakfast was rich and delicious, a good mix of Western and Chinese options to suit all tastes. The lobby on the first floor was relaxing and inviting, creating a very chill atmosphere. Overall, a superb stay, big thumbs up to the front desk young lady! 👍👍👍

The hotel was indeed good. They called me the day before, but it felt more like a formality after I added them on WeChat. From check-in to check-out, there was no follow-up or care from them. However, after I booked the hotel and contacted them myself, Kira from Guest Relations reached out to me. She was incredibly responsible and stayed in touch with us throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out, helping us with a lot of things! The sensor light in the wardrobe was broken and stayed on constantly, which was a bit bothersome, especially at night when it affected my sleep. Also, there was an unremovable stain on the duvet cover, which they later replaced. Overall, it was pretty good.

During my trip to China, I stayed at the same brand of hotel in Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. My biggest takeaway is that this hotel brand never disappoints. While the overall space at the Atour Hotel Shanghai Jing'an might be a bit more compact than its counterparts in other cities, the comfort level is still top-notch. The attention to detail and the overall experience put me at ease. The location, in particular, is incredibly convenient, with excellent transportation links. Getting to Shanghai Railway Station or other parts of Shanghai was a breeze. For me, the most important thing about a hotel isn't just how luxurious it is, but rather the consistent feeling of stability, comfort, and peace of mind it provides with each stay. This is my biggest impression after staying at several Atour hotels consecutively – the brand's quality and service are consistently excellent. No matter where I go, I know I won't be let down. If you're looking for comfort, convenience, and that reassuring feeling of 'you can't go wrong with this choice,' the Atour Hotel Shanghai Jing'an is indeed an excellent option.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. It was recommended by my foreign colleagues for my business trip to Shanghai. The surrounding area is bustling, located in the core business district of Jing'an Temple, making it very convenient for subway travel, shopping, and sightseeing. The bedding in the room was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's rest for my business trip. I happened to be there during a typhoon with heavy rain in Shanghai, and I particularly appreciate the doorman who promptly helped with my luggage. The front desk and room service were professional and attentive. The executive lounge experience was outstanding, with excellent food. From the room window, I could enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful surroundings.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Kerry Centre and just a few minutes' walk from Plaza 66. While the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they are still perfectly functional. The executive lounge privileges are a real highlight, allowing us to dine entirely within the hotel, which was very convenient with a child. We were also lucky enough to see a rainbow after the typhoon – good luck to everyone!

Ordering takeout was also super convenient, with robots delivering directly to the room, which was a great experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is super convenient! It's right around the corner if you take Exit 1 of Metro Line 2. There are tons of places to eat nearby, and it's just a 7-8 minute walk to the embassy for visa appointments. Zhangyuan is also only about 100 meters away. I booked a balcony room, which was spacious and didn't feel cramped at all. The decor is really modern too. There's no breakfast at the hotel, so I grabbed some Shanghai wontons nearby, and they were delicious. One suggestion I have is to add a small night light in the room. The current lighting options are either too bright no matter how you set them, or it's completely dark. I usually prefer to have a bit of light on when staying in a hotel, it makes me feel more secure.
