Hidden Valley Wilderness Lodge

"The most gorgeous stay! We stayed in the Fire Tower and just WOW This is one of the most luxurious stays in Belize with fantastic walking tours through the valley, you will see some of the most surreal waterfalls The bed was huge and had proper pillows and duvet which if you are anything like me will appreciate regardless of the weather Breakfast is served to your room! We enjoyed on the balcony watching the sunrise The bath tub was a great addition the the room especially after a big walk! The Fire Tower gave you gorgeous views and an even better sunrise and sunset We were even lucky enough to see a thunder and lightening storm which was incredible Would recommend to a friend and 100% return"

Mariposa Jungle Lodge

"We spent 4 lovely nights at Mariposa. The space is incredibly tranquil. It really does feel like being in the middle of the jungle in how it is beautifully landscaped and provides ample trails on-site to explore. Our Cabana was beautifully decorated and spotless. We were fortunate to have a small deck off the back that allowed us to sit amongst the trees. Cabana was equipped with all of the necessary amenities (no t.v. - but that's ok!). The pool, although on the smaller side, was beautifully maintained and perfect for cooling off and relaxing. The ping-pong table and foosball table were big hits with my kids. The food was also amazing. I definitely recommend doing the Meal Plan if it fits your budget. They were incredibly accommodating to our different dietary needs (vegetarian and a picky eater) and adjusted portions for kids vs adults. They even made small plates for our toddler. The cocktail menu was also really good! The best part was the staff. They were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and resourceful. Everyone had suggestions and recommendations on what to do or where to go, including local attractions and restaurants. Shout out to Robbie and Leo, who were both fantastic."

"Great place close to the center. Easy 5 min walk to the market or the bus station The AC was great and the room was clean. Staff was really friendly and helped us to get a cheap taxi to the border Only downside is the barthroom. The wall doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and you can hear anything from the bed, but we can live with that. Recommended for sure."
