"The hotel entrance was on a side road without any sign; I had to ask after getting off the bus to find it. The room I checked into smelled of cooking fumes, so I asked the staff to change it. The room facilities were basic; the window was small, and the toilet and shower were separated into two small, cramped rooms, not up to the standard of a deluxe king room. The hairdryer was difficult to use and made me dizzy. The buffet breakfast had a limited selection, and some of the sweet potatoes were spoiled and steamed for guests. Most amusingly, the freshly ground coffee didn't have bagged sugar. When I asked a staff member, they said they were out and I had to go to the lobby to get it. After waiting a long time, a staff member finally came up (the restaurant is on the 10th floor), without mentioning the sugar. When I asked again, she told me she was out of sugar downstairs, which was quite frustrating. Such a large hotel couldn't even provide coffee creamer. The surrounding area lacked amenities, with construction underway. In conclusion, given the limited amenities and the fact that it was late October/early November (off-season), the hotel's pricing was unreasonable."

"I had a very good experience at Rushan Huaxi Hotel! I booked this hotel by chance, but was very surprised. The service was very enthusiastic. After checking in, the waiter guided me to the room. There were service staff waiting on the floor of the room. The door was opened and the drinks provided in the room were free. The bed was shaped, which was very attentive and felt full of sincerity. The hotel buffet dinner, mainly seafood, was only 88 yuan at the original price. Guests had exclusive discounts. Fresh swimming crabs and various shellfish were all available. The cost performance was really high. I was also surprised at breakfast. I went to the restaurant to get my own meal first. I didn't expect that when I returned to my seat, the waiter served a special breakfast and told me that it was exclusive for online booking (there was no withdrawal in the Ctrip booking). This breakfast was completely different from the buffet, much more upscale, especially including a portion of millet stewed sea cucumber, which was really a high-end treatment. When checking out, before we even got to the counter, the lobby manager accurately reported our room number. It felt like we had received special attention and service, which was too high-end. I recommend going to experience it if you have the chance. The service is really good. The kind of state that is specially provided for you and makes you unaware is very high-end."

"This is the worst B&B I've stayed in during my trip to Shandong, bar none. First, just follow the navigation for the location. There's ample parking downstairs, so you can park wherever you want. It's also very close to the beach, just across the street. However, there aren't many shopping options or restaurants nearby. You'll need a car for food and shopping. The room itself appears clean on the outside, but once you enter, you'll notice a series of issues. A large bath towel was draped haphazardly on the bedside shelf, not properly stacked. I suspect it was from the previous owner. The bedroom cabinet next to the bed was labeled "Personal Property, Do Not Use." I rented the entire apartment, and you turned it into a shared space. There were two used toothpaste and soap stubs on the bathroom sink, and they claimed they were left there by the cleaning staff, allowing guests to use them freely. I've been using *** since 2013 and have stayed in hundreds of B&Bs, but this is the first time I've encountered this. They also claimed the tub in the bathtub was left there by the cleaning staff; it was filthy and full of sand. The bathtub and shower are combined, and they're quite high, so be careful if you're not sure how to use it. I contacted the landlord, and he responded fairly quickly. But besides shirking my responsibilities, I just told myself not to be too picky. WiFi is mobile, so if you don't want to reminisce about the 2G era, you should just use your own data plan."

I've been to Rushan for three consecutive years, and I never tire of going to the Gongjiazhuang Farmers' Market or the market. I absolutely love Rushan."
