"I booked this hotel because I was going to Geneva and needed a place for the next morning. It took me 12 minutes to get there by metro. Even for someone like me who's bad with directions, it was easy to find, a straight shot to Gare de Lyon (where the TGV is) in less than 5 minutes. My plan worked out perfectly. The room was clean and had a nice atmosphere. However, while I understand the 100 euro deposit, the front desk guy's attitude was a bit off-putting. When I asked when and how I'd get it back, he said by tomorrow evening. But I told him I was leaving tomorrow morning, and he just said his shift starts in the evening and it's never been an issue before. I'm not sure if it was because we were speaking English and it lacked politeness, but his tone was really irritating. Later, I looked it up and realized he should have just explained that since I paid with a credit card, they would process the refund to my card tomorrow. He could have also mentioned that the processing is handled by the card company and could take 2-4 weeks, even though he might not know the exact timeframe. If he had just explained it that way, I wouldn't have been so annoyed. It felt like he just couldn't be bothered to understand my concern and explain properly."

"Overall, a good hotel. It has a convenient location near the metro, so you can get to the city center very quickly. The hotel is clean, and the staff are polite. The downsides: during a week-long stay, the bed linen was never changed; there was no drinking water in the room. The breakfast was also quite repetitive: every day there was omelet, bacon, cold cuts, cereal, and pastries. After a week, this became a bit boring. Overall, I would recommend this hotel."
