"So far on my trip to Hainan, I've stayed in four different hotels, ranging from budget-friendly to luxury five-star. My stay at Atour has been the most satisfying. Atour just opened less than two months ago, so everything is brand new, yet there's no hint of a renovation smell. The room's amenities and facilities are incredibly convenient and user-friendly, and the service attitude is wonderfully comforting and satisfying. It really feels like Atour's management genuinely understands customer needs and strives to provide service that meets, or even exceeds, expectations.
If I had to suggest an improvement, I'd recommend upgrading the toilet seats from the current semi-automatic heating and flushing models to fully automatic smart toilet seats that offer washing and cleaning functions. Quality brands like Panasonic offer these for under a thousand yuan. Smart toilet seats are quite common in many Chinese households now and are a significant consideration for many guests when traveling. Replacing them with fully smart models would be a major upgrade and a key factor for many potential guests."

"This hotel is located right by Municipal Square, close to the city hall and government offices. It's about a 15-minute walk to Zaliang Street. It's a standard 3-star express hotel. I got a complimentary room upgrade to a spacious room. The free breakfast is a 28 CNY standard and includes yogurt. However, the power went out more than three times during the early morning and night. The curtains automatically opened and closed when the power cut out, which was quite alarming! When checking out, the front desk apologized, saying it was due to a municipal power supply issue. But since I could see lights in nearby buildings outside my window during the power outages, I suspect there might be a defect with the hotel's electrical equipment or facilities!"

Guest UserThis trip compared several, and finally selected Qionghai Baolian City Hotel. The whole stay experience far exceeded my expectations. It is very suitable for people who want to take a slow-paced vacation and don't want to catch the trip. The whole hotel is a large garden-style resort area. The park is well planned, the vegetation is rich, the trees are shaded, the roads are clean and tidy, and the scenery is everywhere when strolling in the park. People will not be very noisy, there is no noise, and the atmosphere is particularly relaxed. You can walk to the beach, go to the beach in the evening, blow the sea breeze in the South China Sea, watch the sunset on the sea, and the atmosphere is directly full. The overall space of the sea view room type is very sufficient, the overall maintenance of the room is good, the lighting is very good, and the house is bright during the day. Health is done more carefully, the ground, bathroom, tabletop are cleaned up, the bedding is dry and soft, and there is no discomfort to live. I like the balcony of the room the most. I can face the sea view directly from the balcony. I have nothing to do. I have to move a chair and sit in a daze. I watch the ebb and flow of the tide, blow the sea breeze, drink tea and chat. The feeling of vacation is coming at once. The hotel staff are very friendly, the check-in and check-out process is smooth, there is a problem to find the front desk or the housekeeper, and the feedback processing speed is also OK. The park is fully furnished, and it is convenient to eat, live and travel daily, and you don't have to run far. Whether it is family travel, friends, or a person to relax and live alone, it is suitable. The overall living comfort is very high, the rest is very good, and there is a little reluctance when leaving. If you come to Qionghai Boao for a trip later, Baolian City will be my first choice for accommodation, and I really recommend it to friends who are pursuing a quiet holiday and want to see the sea view.

Guest UserThe black mold in the shower and on the curtains should be removed. The shower drained all over the bathroom. The blinds would not completely close. The balcony door would not close and lock.
Great staff, our main door lock was fixed twice and very promptly, staff in the breakfast area were very helpful.
But hot entres were cold as most left the lids open and it seemed there was no heat to keep items hot.
Great plus to have a washing machine on the balcony!

The room was spacious, and it wasn't crowded during the Qingming Festival, so we got an upgrade to a high-floor sea-view room. The view from building A was decent, though a bit obstructed by the building in front. I reckon you could see the sunrise on a clear day.
On the downside, there was a small bug on the floor, and the TV remote wasn't working. We had to call staff to fix both issues, which was a bit inconvenient. The desk wasn't wiped clean either; my child wanted to do some homework on it, but it was covered in dust.
On the positive side, the price was reasonable, the staff were friendly and efficient in resolving issues, and their attitude was great. There's an outdoor pool, and the location is convenient. You can easily get to the main attractions by renting a small electric scooter.
The food options nearby aren't great. We ended up eating糟粕粉饭 (zāopòfěn fàn) at the hotel restaurant, but the shrimp and shellfish weren't fresh.

Overall, the apartment is okay. The price is cheaper than the hotel. The location is also good. It's not far from the attractions. It's very convenient to drive by yourself.
Environment: The environment is close to the seaside, and the environment in the community is also good. The sea view room you bought can indeed see the seaside beach. It will look better when the weather is good.
Hygiene: Hygiene is relatively average. After all, it is an apartment style. The kitchen, curtains, and bathroom are all a bit shabby.
Facilities: In terms of facilities, the apartment is still poor. There are no disposable slippers, no bottled water, no ironing machine, etc. It is a bit worse than the hotel.
Service: In terms of service, there is no front desk or reception staff. The customer service will add WeChat to tell the room location and how to open the door yourself. Each has its own pros and cons.
