GHL Hotel Lago Titicaca

"Hotel Lago Titicaca needs some serious renovations to claim they are a 5 star hotel. Service at the front desk was not too friendly and the restaurant seemed to follow behind which might require looking at the entire team. They have a property that is capable of being truly remarkable but ownership and management just don’t know how to make that happen. Very sad."

"It's not on par with the other Casa Andina I've been to in Peru; even the CASA ANDINA STANDARD MACHU PICCHU is better, especially regarding breakfast. We also didn't like the fact that the hotel manager had breakfast with her children/family in the breakfast room. On our last day at the hotel, there was only one employee (poor thing, super sweet) to take care of everything; it was an abuse..."

"Hotel located in busy narrow corner intersection with street construction. Don't judge its exterior, the interior provides hospitable staff, clean/comfy rooms, there is attached wall AC/fan, but subpar breakfast in lobby. Dinner food was horrible; better to eat out - lots of restaurants along the plaza just steps away. TV remote does not coincide with channel map menu. TV isn't clear/very staticky. No english channels. Shower runs out of hot water. There is no bathroom exhaust so no place for steam to escape (everything is steamy and wet from condensation)."

Royal Inn Hotel Puno

"I stayed in Rooms 305 and then 307 after 305’s shower over the bath ran a flood of water onto the floor. Hotel then moved us to 307 where the plug wouldn’t stay up in the bath so one showered in increasing pool of water. The lobby is cold as is the dining room. Was charged two different prices for a glass of wine (only by one sol). Staff member was picking her pimple in the Model T ford mirror one day."
