Hotel Petropolis Inn ★★★
"The hotel team is wonderful, the hotel is congratulated, not to mention the breakfast that was all good."
Kastel Petrópolis ★★
"Our stay was wonderful and the Easter chocolates for Easter Weekend was a nice personal touch. There were some minor issues (LED lightstrip behind headboard flashing constantly) that was immediately reported when we arrived and fixed within the same hour of our arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was safe (they park and bring out your vehicle when you need it). The only thing (but it wasn't a deal breaker) was the slight damp/mouldy smell in the room, but it's like that everywhere in the area due to the high moisture and humidity in the area. There are however some black mould spots that needs attention, just for the hotel to note - especially on the curtains and in the shower. Our stay was comfortable and breakfast was good (nice variety daily). Just please note that they do charge "tourist tax" which wasn't indicated on our booking, Trip.com and the Hotel is responsible to disclose this beforehand."
Grande Hotel Petrópolis ★★★
"The hotel has a very spacious suite with beautiful views of the city."
Pousada do Lago ★★★
"A cosy, well located, clean and organized environment and a spectacular breakfast!!"
Hotel Casablanca Imperial ★★★
"The hotel has excellent location and a large parking space, which is certainly convenient for travelers by car. However, I was not lucky with the number – he was not in a beautiful historical building, but in a new business that already managed to lose its attraction. Inside the room the condition leaves the best: the room was unpleasant, and the towels were with spots. Breakfast also didn't please – food was unpleasant and did not meet expectations. The only thing that saved my stay – is a polite and hospitality staff who tried to do everything possible for the comfortable accommodation of guests."
Hotel Caminhos de Itaipava ★★★
"I enjoyed a lot. I found the breakfast weak by the door of the place and the room with strong smell as soon as I came in, probably because I was very closed, but then we used to it. Who is hosted in the chalet has the right to go to itaipava castle and that is very legal ❤️"
Casablanca Center Hotel ★★★
"We had a small problem in the room where we stayed because the air conditioning was not working and we only discovered that in the night, but the staff quickly relocated us to another room, the hotel is very close to the main tourist points of Petrópolis, very good breakfast, recommend stay there"
Hotel Vila Bavária Petrópolis ★★★
"Hotel does not match with price ...nem sabun has.Room smelling mopho I have all sweaty photos of walls"
Pousada Orquidea da Serra ★★★

Ninho da Arara
Pousada Tankamana
"A beautiful and perfect place for couples!"
Kastel Pedra Bonita
"A cozy, welcome and very peaceful location, highlighting the afternoon tea that was a pleasant surprise and the wonderful breakfast that is above the average of the hotels of this category. I stayed only one night, but I want to go back to spend at least three days."
Hotel Granja Brasil Resort
"The hotel was very good."
Hotel Casablanca Koeler
Pousada Vila Brasil
"Accomodation was perfect, decoration beautifull , the host and staff where helpfull and very friendly. We loved to see the moon shining trough the window wich was a wonderfull experience."
Ibis Budget Petropolis
"The bathroom was well showered, but the soap was free and sweet. And unfortunately, they could not make more trawls available, I needed to buy one to get to sleep, because the trawl available was quite muddy."
Hotel Colinas de Petropolis
Pousada Dom Petrópolis
"Excellent location near the main tourist points. The property has imperial style, so we travel in the time. The coffee shop, the balls and cookies at the reception make the difference, besides excellent service."
Pousada 14 Bis
Kastel Grão Pará
"The hotel invests in the common areas, which are beautiful and well-kept. It should invest more in what really matters: Comfort. The elevator is not being maintained. It doesn't exist. This was reported by several people in the city who know the hotel. The elevator has never worked. It never will. Access to the rooms is via stairs and they are horrible. Accessibility score 0. The rooms are poorly maintained, destroyed. From spider webs on the ceiling to lack of finishing and loose flooring. It's not rustic. It's bad. The double beds are actually two single beds pushed together. The walls are drywall. The old floor, all loose and poorly maintained, makes noise with any movement in your room, in the neighboring room, downstairs, in the hallway, with the bus passing by on the street... Oh, the mattress is horrible. Save your back. Run away. At breakfast, they make no effort to hide the fact that you're eating leftovers from the day before. Hard cheese bread. Burnt eggs. Terrible presentation of simple things. That slice of cheese that is cut in half in every hotel, looking nice, here is torn in half in any way, even by hand. There is no glass. No cup. No plate. There is no organization whatsoever when it comes to replenishing the buffet items. Friendliness was also lacking. The staff is polite, but they are trained to react and not to act. You will be greeted with a nice good morning, but only if you say good morning first. I have stayed in bad hotels, but Grão-Pará is to be congratulated. I will not return to this hotel and I will stay away from all hotels in the Kastel chain."
