Surprisingly well-equipped for being in the desert! You can step right outside and enjoy the sand. The private bathroom even has hot water that's hot enough. I was expecting a rustic experience, but the lights at night were absolutely beautiful – definitely worth staying here! They also have a camp BBQ in the evening; it's not expensive, and you can get full for around 50 per person. ₍₍Ϡ(੭•̀ω•́)੭✧⃛

Super close to Xiangshawan, making travel a breeze. The whole place was clean and tidy, with excellent facilities – I slept incredibly well. The owner is a gem and also the chef; the roasted lamb chops are a must-try! You can even go off-roading and sand-sliding in the uninhabited desert. The courtyard offers parking, a place to dry clothes, and is pet-friendly. We checked in during the morning and the place was really lovely, super clean. For the same price point, this guesthouse's decor is truly excellent! Folks, this should be your top choice. Plus, there's a picking area in the yard with organic fruits, and we weighed some to eat on the road. There's a small restaurant across the street with food. We didn't get a chance to have breakfast, but the owner said it's a buffet. Their stir-fries are really good, made with their own vegetables – highly recommended!

Couldn’t be any closer to the Kubuqi Desert! Such a great view from our cabin - we were very lucky. Within seconds you are standing on the sand. The team picked us up from the tourist station, helped us settle into the room and helped us buy attraction tickets (with discount). They couldn’t have been more accommodating - especially as we had to do everything by translation apps. We had a fun afternoon at the park next door - it’s not thrilling and aimed more at families - but it’s an enjoyable thing to do. In the evening we ate in their restaurant, lots of choice and food was tasty. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. We watched the sunset and sunrise, and enjoyed a noisy thunderstorm in the middle of the night. Shower is hot and powerful. Breakfast was a small buffet option, and tasty. Some things to note - a kettle is provided in the room but no tea or coffee. There is also no fridge. They also only provide one use disposal towels - a proper towel would have been a better experience, especially as you need more than one shower for an overnight stay. Would recommend staying here - we had as close to a desert experience as you can with a touch of luxury. The staff made the experience even better!

I stayed for several days. The service staff here are very good. Very friendly. The room attendant is easy to talk to. The room cleaning is very timely. Super good. The front desk lady is very good-looking from the first-person perspective. She also patiently answered my questions. There are small gifts for check-in. Not only check-in, but also greeted in the corridor. It is very warm when you go out. Compared with other hotels, this place is very convenient. Overall recommended

Awesome place for families. Family yurt was ideal and the Hero show was fantastic. The other shows and kids activities were also great. Beware limited eating choices but those there are decent enough. Ice cream and Dico’s available at the activities area. Also note you need to pay to get into the scenic area and activities/shows. We paid 268 per adult including 12 activities/shows. Kids under 1.3m are free. Oh and free to use washer/dryer was a godsend.

This log cabin B&B was an amazing experience! The wooden cabin felt cozy and comforting, the room was clean and tidy, and the wooden decor really set the mood. The outdoor courtyard was spacious, with a sunshade and lounge chairs, perfect for taking photos. The environment was quiet and serene, facilities were complete, and the service was attentive. It's ideal for a relaxing get-together with friends, a perfect escape from the city hustle, and definitely my top choice for a vacation!

Having stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I can't help but comment that this is the only hotel in the scenic area. It looks good based on the price, but only those who have stayed there know. 1. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and took my luggage on his own initiative. My first impression was quite good. As soon as I moved in, I discovered that the air conditioner was roaring loudly, the toilet button required skill - if you pressed it incorrectly the water would just keep flowing, and the sink drain was half-blocked, so after using it you had to wait for the water to flow out before you could use it again. There was a male waiter at the front desk with a bad attitude. I booked a family room for four people, and there were only two 335ml bottles of water in it. I asked for four more bottles, but he said it would be charged. This is the first time I heard that hotels charge for mineral water! The one point deducted from the service was by the male receptionist! The cleaning staff has a better attitude than the male waiter at the front desk! However, the fireworks show during the May Day holiday is still a plus!
