The only drawback is the poor soundproofing. I suggest posting a sign at the stairwell saying ”Please do not speak loudly at night or early in the morning.” Last night and early this morning, guests, especially those with children, were too noisy and woke me up several times. Also, the windows are a bit drafty; even when closed, a little wind still gets in, making it a bit chilly in the morning.
