Mythic Paros , Adults Only

"I have never given such a bad rating to a hotel before but I feel like I’ve had such a bad experience and I need to share in order for others to not fall prey to this hotel. The property itself is a nice property with an amazing infinity pool view. Service at the pool was average but we let it slide. The room itself was ok (not too big) but the real issue came at night in the room (junior master suite) - the master switch to turn off all the room lights was faulty and every time we switched it off, the lights turned back on shortly after. We escalated to the night manager as we were unable to fall asleep at 12.40am and was told very candidly that they knew this room had this issue all along. We asked why they even sold this room if it caused issues and they said sometimes it was ok and we were unlucky that it was not ok this time around. Mind blown?! At this point of time it was 1am and we were given two choices - shut down the entire room’s electricity (which meant no air con for the night) or change to room. We had a early flight to catch at 5 am so we chose to change our rooms - we were given a small room next to reception which was clearly already used (blankets were on the floor, used towels in the sink along with used glasses). It was spooky but we were tired and had to wake up in 3 hours for a flight so we did not argue. There was a really spooky energy in both rooms (103 and 313) We left the next morning and are trying to seek compensation from the hotel for this. Will update. But please avoid this hotel if you can - or if not, at least these two rooms. I’m not sure if it’s a real “electrical issue” or other spiritual issues. AVOID."

Cove Paros

"For a premium price point/experience the hotel fell short for us. The private beach is average with more dirt than sand. Food quality was pretty average although we didn’t eat at the main restaurant. That said the pool area is really nice but definitely wouldn’t rush back."

Kouros Blanc Resort & Suites

"The room wasn't ready. It wasn't the room I had booked; I had to ask for everything: coffee, sugar, water—even the Wi-Fi code was wrong. At €350 a night, they can't just tell customers, "You're opening the hotel!" An acquaintance paid €200 a night for a room bigger than mine. They didn't even offer any compensation, charging me €37 for a salad and a sandwich. I had paid 50% upon booking, and they deducted the remaining 50% as soon as I arrived. A complete lack of professionalism."

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was great, close to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choices. I highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and enjoyable stay while in Greece. There are a maze of options but you will do yourself a favour by staying here."

"The good: - it's positioned perfectly, about 2 minutes walk to a quiet beach, with no umbrellas and with perfect water (swam there a few times and it's calm and clear) - there are parking spaces for each house, shaded - the stay itself is very well thought, it has literally everything you need in the kitchen, a dryer outside, a jacuzzi which was clean, the bed was very comfy, it has mosquito nets (excellent!!), it even has a nice recipient to place those burning spirals that mosquitos hate in case you want to stay out on the terrace - the terrace is very big, overlooking directly the beach and sea and the 2 hills to the left and right - you can see the sunrise right from the bed or from the terrace, with a coffee - there is a Nespresso machine The just ok: - I really don't have anything relevant to say here, maybe the curtain from the shower which was sometimes sticking to you, not sure if a glass or plastic screen can be installed, but to be honest it was no issue whatsoever (and I'm a big guy) The excellent!!! - the host are amazing people, more than friendly, they are warm and welcoming (really embody philoxenia) - even though there is no breakfast, we got a plate of homemade chickpeas when we arrived and some portokalopita the next day (both were amazing, especially the portokalopita!) - they clean everyday and they really do their job here in an excellent way - everything in the room is in excellent quality, very well kept and very tasteful (the colors they chose, the objects themselves, how they come together) - because it's worth mentioning twice - the hosts! felt like talking to friends"

"Have been travelling for 4 weeks around the Greek Islands and we have been blown away by the warmth and friendliness. Anapollo went further still ! Katerina is the most organised and best communicator from the day we booked until we left this morning she took care of everything, transfers, car hire, restaurant recommendations. Alongside Eleni, the housekeepers, chef and not forgetting’Father’ we just relaxed and enjoyed beautiful Paros. The view from the rooftop pool is incredible, breakfast wonderful, food and drinks by the pool - no problem, rooms spotless, fresh towels and even a mosquito machine for the room.
