Akademie really lives up to her reputation and fully deserves all the accolades. It is indeed a home away from home, and service is warm, personable and probably the best you can get. Planning to go back again soon. Thank you to the staff for showing us the best of South African hospitality. Can't wait to be back!

We had the most incredible stay here! The host was gracious and went the extra mile to make this place feel like home. The double shower heads were a wonderful surprise! Large, deep soaking tub was an added bonus. Walking out to an incredible view was the cherry on the cake. This place is one in a million!

This is a very beautiful cottage. Inside, there is a barbecue and everything you need for it (coals, lighter fluid, etc.). There is a fireplace with firewood. There is a microwave and a refrigerator (no stove). The bathroom has underfloor heating. The property has a beautiful grounds.

An amazing little hotel just off the Main Street. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rooms were a very good size and clean and well decorated. Breakfast was in a nice court yard and plenty of options and good serving sizes. Really impressed and would love to return one day.

Nice Homely place just far enough away from the main town. Good size room with a nice veranda area. Attentive staff and manager to make sure your stay is pleasant. Would recommend this place.

upon arriving at the hotel the staff was super friendly. so helpful and polite and willing to help. the location of the hotel is a great and beautiful Franschoek. the room was okay it felt more like a Airbnb than that hotel. it was not what we expected and not for the price we paid. the room felt a little bit updated and they were some essential items missing. there was also no milk for your coffee and no coffee at all. if you want to order something you had to add an additional hundred rounds to get it delivered to your door. some of the things and the room let it felt outdated. the view of the parking lot is also not what was expected. the beautiful views were across the road in the hotel. The pictures was a bit misleading and disappointing when arriving to the room.

Very cute hotel, clean, very chilled and comfortable! What makes it special is amazing people who work there making your stay memorable and pleasant!

Очень хорошее место! Тихо, но пешком до центра и станции винного трамвая. Есть гараж. Очень вкусный завтрак! Очень живописное место! Очень приятный персонал, все, с кем мы общались были очень добры. Удобная кровать, просторный санузел. С чистой совестью рекомендую!
