GGuest UserI recently stayed at Phong Nha Mountain House, and I can honestly say it was one of the most comfortable and welcoming experiences I've ever had. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They helped with everything from laundry and food to providing invaluable advice about the local area.
They also assisted in booking an incredible tour around the caves, which was a highlight of my trip. When my motorbike broke down, they offered to find a mechanic for me and even took me to the bus station to make sure I could continue my journey safely.
I could not recommend Phong Nha Mountain House enough. The hosts are some of the kindest, most genuine people I have met, and their hospitality truly made my stay unforgettable.

Rrainy2004Бронировал в этом отеле 2 ночи в Улучшенный угловой номер с видом на горы (1 двуспальная кровать). Из всего перечисленного на месте правдой оказалась только двуспальная кровать :). Номер оказался обычный, на втором этаже, с одним окном и видом на пустырь и соседний отель.
Что хорошего: в целом чисто, в номере есть холодильник, вентилятор и кондиционер, все в рабочем состоянии. Туалетная комната своебразной планировки, но всем можно воспользоваться. Напор воды также нормальный. Завтрак скромный, чашечки для кофе крохотные. А я люблю большие порции напитков, так что не повезло. Еще из хорошего - хозяин помог организовать трансфер из/в Донгхой за разумные деньги, за что ему спасибо.
Теперь что плохо: в номере нет чайника, и получить в этом отеле горячую воду просто невозможно. Если вы встаете рано, как и я, то придется ждать завтрака (7.30) чтобы выпить чашку чая или кофе. При этом в Улучшенный угловой номер с видом на горы (1 двуспальная кровать) чайник есть...
И вишенка на торте - для тех, кто дочитал. Большое панорамное окно улучшенного углового номера - это не для того, чтобы вы смотрели на горы из кровати. Это большое общедоступное окно для всех в ваш номер :))) Так что может и хорошо, что мне достался другой номер.

The hotel is a very nice view of the river and many places to sit and watch it.
We were very comfortable with me, while my bus arrived in Phong Nha very early and I had not booked room for the night during which my bus traveled.

MMoshikVinn, the owner and his family are offering a top notch service for all. Not only accommodating but also offering the touring services as Vinn is also a certified tour guide. Couldn’t recommend more about staying here if you’re passing by.

GGuest UserСлучайно забронировали этот отель на 1 день, т.к. в нашем путешествии изменилось расписание автобуса за день до отъезда , в связи с чем мы приехали в Фонгня в 2 утра, а не в 6 как предполагали. В нашем отеле мест не было, поэтому выбрали Golden forest homestay. Гостиница расположена прям на станции слипбасов. Буквально в 5 метрах, что очень удобно Заселили быстро , очень мило встретили, проводили в отличную комнату, где мы выспались без проблем. Большое спасибо за отличный сервис. Единственный минус-плохо работает кондиционер, но сильно не мешало, т к в комнате есть вентилятор.

GGuest UserI can 100% recommend this to anyone!! It’s a very lovely family-run homestay which is located very very well. The staff is nice even though not all of them speak English and the breakfast is delicious as well. What I liked the most where the rooms with the big windows and balconies overlooking the river and the mountains. It was incredible waking up with this view.
The perfect place to stay if you want to rewind.

GGuest UserThe staff is very generous and helpful. He gave advise for activities, booked our next bus and rented us his motorbike. He even invited us to watch the final soccer match of the national team with him and his friends, which was an really fun experience.
The free breakfast was really nice, pancake, fruit, juice and coffee and also other options, while enjoying the beautiful view over the valley from the rooftop.
Room had a nice balcony, was clean and beds were comfy.
We could leave our bags after checking out ans even use a hot shower after a day of activities before we took our next bus.
Would definitely recommend!

GGuest UserLoved the little bungalow, super clean (no bugs) which is lovely. The family who own it super welcoming and friendly. Who doesn’t love a comfortable bed and great Ac. All you need when travelling.
Even arranged for us to get a scooter for the days we was there.
If we are ever back we will defo be returning to the bungalows.

GGuest UserPlus points: Duc at reception was extremely helpful in giving options and booking a Phong Nha tour. He also woke up to let us in at 03:30 am (bus arrival). We were able to use decent functional (pedal power) bikes. Less than plus: contrary to the various web pictures and info, there is NO POOL. Breakfast was instant noodles (due to Tet, but still...).

GGuest UserGreat location in Phong Nha, minutes walk to where the bus drops you off. The only good thing other than the location and price was the help the staff provided with logistics. Diep was very helpful arranging transportation for us, even on her day off. We chose this hotel because it was listed as a 3 star hotel, not sure if that is accurate. The hostels in the town looked much nicer, listed as 2 stars, but we are a little bit older and not sure we would fit in with the younger patrons shown in the hostel pictures. Though we wouldn’t have used their large pool due to the rainy weather, it was only half full of water and not usable. The breakfast included in the room price was limited; might want to inquire ahead of time.
