The hotel was located a little bit out of the city in a more private business area. It definitely was quiet and good for remote work and sleep time. Front desk was great at helping with checkin and parking instructions. Breakfast was also free and the bacon was served fresh and hot!

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, approximately 5 kilometers away. North-facing rooms offer direct views of planes taking off and landing across Highway 101, but the excellent soundproofing ensures no noise disturbance. The hotel is situated within a recently developed complex and features a large parking lot at the back. Both the rooms and facilities are brand new, which is quite unusual for a US hotel. The rooms are spacious and equipped with basic kitchenware and a stovetop, making them ideal for families with children who want to prepare simple meals. As the surrounding area is newly developed, there are currently only two fast-food restaurants across the street (one of which is Panda Express, a well-known Chinese fast-food chain in the US). The other units are still for lease, so it will probably take over a year for more amenities to become available. However, in the community directly opposite, there are three to four restaurants, including the famous West Coast burger joint, In-N-Out. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station, offering quick and easy access to Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The hotel offers breakfast, which is quite good for a US hotel, featuring options like hard-boiled eggs🥚, scrambled eggs, bread, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and more.

Outdated decor but well maintained and clean overall. Reasonably priced with plenty of free surface parking. Very close to SFO. Bay front and there’s a nice board walk facing the bay and airport runway. Free breakfast included in room rate and is quite decent. Had a street side room facing the road. Didn’t hear traffic noise or plane noise. There can be daily housekeeping if staying more than 1 night but it has to be requested at front desk in advance.

Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Express was great. The location is usually convenient, which is a plus whether you're driving or on a business trip. The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable, and both the soundproofing and air conditioning work consistently well. Breakfast is a American-style buffet with a good variety of choices, and they restock quickly, which is perfect for travelers on a tight schedule. The staff at the front desk are friendly and check-in was very efficient. All in all, it offers good value for money and is ideal for short stays or for those looking for a hassle-free experience.

If I am going to spend quite a bit of money to book a hotel I want real people to check me in, not some AI avatar. Did not even stay for breakfast the second morning, wasn't worth it. Got a printout with wifi and password and it wasn't even correct. I travel overseas extensively and stay at some of the worlds best hotels and this place seems to be giving the absolute minimum.

Excellent value for money! It's clean, has a beautiful window view, and for this price in California with this quality, it's definitely a must-stay when visiting the Bay Area.

Great location. We arrived too early to check in so the front desk employee stored our bags and gave us a recommendation for a gteat mall that was about 15 minutes away. I ordered food from the restaurant to take to my room, it was good and the host was very friendly. I used the free airport shuttle the following morning and stops were on schedule.

This hotel is great and worth it for the price. Perfect for nights out in SF with a safer environment as it’s only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown. The room was big and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and with a good selection. Would stay again 100%.

Facilities: Average motel Visited on June 25, 2026, at 2:18 PM. The hygiene at this budget hotel was decent. It was evident that the bedding was changed for each guest, and the bathroom had undergone basic disinfection with no obvious uncleaned spots. The hotel's biggest advantage is its proximity to the airport, making it convenient for catching flights. The downside is that most guests are short-term travelers, leading to a mixed crowd. You often see strangers with a lot of luggage in the elevators. Service, however, was good; all services adhered to brand standards, and the staff were friendly. There's a shuttle bus service that stops at multiple hotels.

The bathroom facilities were thoughtfully designed, with non-slip grab bars that made me feel very safe. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, so I was easily disturbed. While breakfast wasn't extensive, it was absolutely essential, as there were no restaurants nearby to buy food. I left some belongings in the room after check-out and had to inquire about them later that evening. I'm very grateful and happy that they were able to find my lost items. Thank you!
