The best location house in Thung Wua Laen Beach

I would not book this hotel if it’s absolutely necessary just like the situation we were in when we had to stay close by the airport to catch the early flight the next day in the morning. The hotel is only 10 minutes away by car so it’s convenient in that regard but it’s not close to any shops or restaurants which means you have to buy things from the hotel which are significantly overpriced. The restaurant food is a complete rip-off. The two of us ordered two dishes (one bowl of rice noodle with prawns and seafood fries and rice) and two hot tea which costed us just under 1000 baht!!! The only way you can get in and out of the hotel is by private taxi or their own transport which is also extremely expensive.  They charge 200 baht per person for 10 minute ride between the hotel and the airport.  The guest room looks clean, but it smelt dampness. There is no toiletry so be prepared with your own supply. The shower holder is fixed on the wall which means the showerhead is splashing water directly into the wall not to yourself. You have to hold the shower hose to wash yourself. 

Cleanliness was excellent — the house was spotless on arrival, which we really appreciated. Location is decent overall and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. That said, the facilities side was a mixed bag for us. We were assigned one of the houses far from the pool, which meant a long walk or a car ride to get there — so we didn't really get to use it. The house itself was very basic: no fan or aircon in the living room/kitchen area, and no breakfast included. For 4,000+ baht a night, that felt like a steep price for what you actually get. To be fair, we booked over a long weekend when options were limited, so the rate was probably inflated. Fine stay overall, but I'd think twice at this price point and would definitely ask about which house you're getting before booking.

Excellent value for money! The resort is peaceful and quiet. The atmosphere is private, and the rooms are clean and well maintained. The resort is close to the beach, and there are several great seafood restaurants just a short drive away. It is also conveniently located near the airport. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Private and exclusive land, the owner Pete is very nice, the hotel environment has nothing to say, but there should be only 4 rooms in total, there should be only 4 rooms in total, the environment is not to say, I will definitely go here next time, I suggest you drive, the place is more partial, people who like quietness can Long stay

The rooms are clean, the atmosphere is great, and it's right on Bang Berd beach, the border between Prachuap and Chumphon provinces. There's fresh seafood from local fishermen, which can be cooked at the resort, or you can buy it and have the resort cook it for you. Activities include night squid fishing, snorkeling at Koh Thalu, and enjoying a crab feast with your feet dangling in the sea at Pathio, Chumphon. You can book tickets at Chanthima Resort.
