Amazing
GGuest UserThe staff provided excellent service. We checked in late at night, and there was an elderly gentleman at the front desk who was very polite and helpful. The morning staff also took great care of us during breakfast. The breakfast tasted good and was definitely good value for money, especially since it was included with the room rate. The room itself looked new, modern, and clean. Overall, I was very impressed! However, some rooms face the street, so the view might not be great, but it wasn't an issue for us.
AAnonymous UserGreat ambiance and views, but it gets hot later in the day because of the tent-like accommodation. Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi on my phone. The bathroom drain was slow.
AAnonymous UserI booked a room with a bathtub, but they gave me one with only a shower. I had to go back to the front desk to switch rooms, which they did quickly. However, neither the front desk nor the staff offered any apologies, which I found strange since they made the mistake. Then, in the room with the bathtub, there was only lukewarm water, no hot water, so I couldn't shower. I had to switch back to the shower-only room to wash up. After persistent requests, the bathtub in my room was fixed the next day, but the plug leaked, so I had to find a way to fix it myself. What's more interesting is that after all these issues, the staff still didn't seem to feel sorry for the guests. The scenery is beautiful, and it's great value for money. There are also bicycles available in the park. However, their service attitude, in my opinion, is unacceptable.
SSuperwaanThe hotel ambiance is great, and the staff handling transfers were good. However, the food at the restaurant wasn't tasty for dinner. Room service was overpriced, and the food was just average. But for breakfast, when it wasn't crowded, even though it wasn't a buffet, they had a good selection of side dishes similar to a buffet. The coffee machine was also a nice touch. All my dissatisfaction was outweighed by the breakfast, which was good, even with fewer people. Most importantly, the staff were attentive and caring. I'd suggest improving the room service food and the dinner restaurant. As for the room, I wish there were more lights; it was a bit too dark.
GGuest UserNice hotel on the banks of the River Kwai, close to all JEATH museum and Bridge.
Rooms are clean and well maintained, the bathroom need slight attention with mold around the shower unit but a minor issue. Breakfast was ok, cooked breakfast was cold but of decent quality, unfortunately 7am opening means that if you are catching the Bangkok train at 7.05am this is a non starter on your leaving day.
Overall decent place to stay, staff pleasant for the minimal interaction of checking in and leaving.
PPeerapong NgThis accommodation is about 30 minutes from the city, perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet. You'll be impressed by the welcome drink, a fragrant and creamy coconut ice cream. The multi-level brick decor is sure to provide beautiful photo opportunities. A highlight upon entering the room was the lovely shower cream, shampoo, and lotion. All rooms face the river. For leisure, you can cycle to the nearby community, though unfortunately, it's a bit far during the rainy season. However, just 5 minutes from the hotel, you can experience rural rice paddy views. After a good night's sleep, enjoy a breakfast with many options to choose from – order until you're full! I will definitely be back.
CChris J HornBooked the Felix resort for a quick trip out of Bangkok and it was so peaceful.
Alighting the train from Bangkok I wandered around the little town. 7-11 and Rainforest cafe are right there.
Then walked across the bridge to the hotel. Be warned it's not far but in hotter weather it may be best to take a cab.
Anyway the hotel, is stunning the entrance is grand, the foyer is stunning and then you walk through the gardens to the rooms.
The pool is out of this world, lush gardens around it and after the noise of Bangkok it's an oasis of calm.
The room (I paid for a river view, which was kind of there but blocked by trees) was again out of this world, with a huge (hard) bed, loads of space, and massive bathroom.
Downside TV didn't work, but I only wanted it on whilst getting ready to go out.
I only had breakfast there so can't comment on evening meals. Breakfast was ok, as a vegan options were limited but the coffee was good and juice was cold.
Staff were great and so polite (like most of Thailand) and the drinks by the pool were pretty cheap.
All in all I would definitely go again to get away from the city.
TTRIN.NTarnsiri Boutique Resort Kanchanaburi is quite easy to locate, nestled on U-Thong Soi 9-Liang Muang road along AH123(heading towards Saiyok), and just about 1 KM from the Wang Saraphee junction.
The resort's location offers convenient access to a variety of destinations; it's only a few minutes away from downtown Kanchanaburi and a short 30-35 minutes drive to Tha Rua district, as well as the M81 Motorway for those heading back to Nakhon Prathom and Bangkok.
Upon my arrival, the receptionist greeted me with a warm smile, and the THB 300 key card deposit was effortlessly handled through QR scanning.
The cafeteria operates until 8:00 PM, with the last order taken at 7:30 PM. You can enjoy breakfast here, choosing from a delightful three-course set or an à la carte menu.
There's also a charming little park corner, perfect for anyone looking to capture some lovely photos.
The resort features three building zones; Buildings A and B are single-story, with parking conveniently located right in front of each room. Building C has two floors, and visitors on the second floor can park in a public area that offers ample parking spaces.
Inside the room, the lighting is warm and inviting, perfect for relaxation, although it may not be ideal for work. However, it certainly creates a cozy atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The mattress and pillows are quite comfortable, and the other amenities meet a satisfactory standard.
LLimVery clean, attached bath room. Very good vibes around the campsite. They take pride in maintaining the site to pristine condition. Enjoyed the marshmallow bon fire, the sunset by the river, the chilly weather at night and early morning. Good breakfast provided, and we ordered Mookata for dinner. Will surely return again during cold season
GGuest UserThe atmosphere is good, clean, go to stay like a very cute house. But a bit far from the main road, must have a private car. I want to have more items for sale. So that you won't go far
