Perfect location one minute from the best shopping mall in town and a host of restaurants shops and cafes. High ceiling and a balcony overlooking a small street with a pleasant park across the street. Not big but very comfortable inside - pity no information was sent to me in advance about checking in etc but otherwise I can have absolutely no complaints

Hotel not right in the center but within a short walk or tram ride to the center or to Avenida Mall and Poznan Glowny train station. Our room was quite small and so was the bathroom but it was alright. The main thing that was annoying was that there were no electricity sockets near the beds and our phones weren’t charged well throughout our 3 day stay. The nice surprise was that they put a water dispensing machine near the elevator, instead of supplying bottled water in the rooms. Why was it a nice surprise? Mainly because you can get as much drinking water as you like (they supply a carafe and glasses in the room) but for me the main perk was that the machine dispenses soda water as well. (We all know now that sweet soda drinks are extremely hazardous to our health so for me soda water is a relatively good option to my previous sweet drinks addiction). The twin beds were about 90 cm wide and sleep was good. We had a problem with the air conditioning as it didn’t cool enough. We assumed that it was centrally managed and that you couldn’t choose your own temperature. We solved this partially by opening the window at night and letting cooler air flow into the room. The hotel is about a 15 minute ride from the airport. We didn’t take the breakfast as it cost 160 PLN for two per day. We preferred a coffee and a pastry instead in Cukier Puder (sugar powder) coffee shop about 200 m away from the hotel. The hotel has its own cafe in the entrance floor which is supposed to be good but we didn’t find something we liked. We did however have dinner in the main restaurant of the hotel- Winestone - which was very good and at a reasonable price. Recommended. There is a Starbucks coffee shop near the corner and 2 Zabka convenience stores - one on each direction when you exit the hotel. The hotel has a gym too. The reception staff were nice and friendly and welcoming and they assisted us with travel plans. In general it seems like an hotel of between 3-4 stars and should be considered.

It was a wonderful stay, the staff at the reception was very helpful and caring. The room was clean, big size with tea and coffee facilities provided. The room was clean when required. The location was ideal as it was walking distance from all attractions and even public transport. It's walking distance from the main train station as well. The area felt safe and even walking back to the hotel at 11pm still felt safe. Breakfast was good although I would wish for me vegetarian options. I think the only drawback is that the room is not soundproof which mean you can hear the next door people and given the hotel is in the old town, it's a bit noisy at night in the area. But I still managed to fall asleep as I was very tired. All in all, I would recommend this hotel for a visit to Poznan.

Very bad service as I lost my shoe in the morning!Very stange as I go to the wrong room without password.Then I found it and ask guys to solve for me in 10:00am!I I go to reception and they say they will help.Then I go down 2nd time on11:00am and they say they will help. The third time,I go down 2:00pm and still no one handle. Angry thing. They say that is impossible!!!I agree withe them for 15minitues and go up and go down! They say the will go up to try ! Finally I found my shoe on the wrong room 304!!!Terrible Not recommended!!!

Altus was a well-placed hotel, ideally placed on the edge of the old town, the Christmas markets, and local shops. There’s a Lidl and numerous convenience stores nearby, and you’re a short walk from the interesting sights. It’s also well-placed on a main road for easy Uber access to the airport. The breakfast was very good, if a little samey, but still great for starting the day off with unlimited coffee, juices and a decent variety of foodstuffs. Fantastic location just few steps away from the Old Town centre, plenty of tram stops to get everywhere in Poznań, two large shopping centres 2-3min walk away, post office, pharmacy and everything you may need during your stay. If you drive, use entrance to the parking from Saint Martin not Podgorna Street, the same for taxis. Breakfasts are great, with good selection of standard and vegetarian options, but the breakfast room is small, so you may need to wait for a table. Rooms are spacious and clean, but quite cold, we had to ask to increase temperature, as the AC panel was broken. You will find good quality toiletries, dressing gowns (although in our room they were all in tiny S size only), slippers, towels, tea and coffee facilities, bottled water and fridge. Reception staff is fantastic, polite, helpful and responsive. We had a nice family stay.

Although it is very close to the train station, it is harder to find at night. And there are many buildings but checkin is in the door. The room was new but had a strange smell. In winter, if there is no air conditioning, you must open the windows.

This was our third stay at this hotel. The previous two stays were 5/5, but this last one was a complete disaster. We needed an overnight stay before an early morning flight. We booked a room with breakfast for two people. The first room we were given was not cleaned after the previous guests. After reporting the problem, we received a room next door, which turned out to not fully meet the standard the hotel provided during our previous stays. The bathroom was only 'so-so' clean, the toilet wasn't cleaned, there were only two random towels available, and a single duvet on the bed. After reporting the issue to the reception, a very kind lady brought the missing items to the room. However, the feeling of embarrassment left a bad taste. The worst, however, turned out to be the breakfast. Our previous two stays had set a high bar in this regard. Hotel breakfasts are served from 6:30 AM – this convinced us to take advantage of the offer before our flight. We went down for breakfast around 6:40 AM. The restaurant was empty; there were no guests or buffet food. The waitress suggested that breakfast would be served directly to our table. 'Quickly,' and without a menu, she asked us to choose what we wanted. We ordered scrambled eggs (max 3 eggs) and 2 boiled eggs. We also received a basket of delicious bread with butter, one tomato, a few slices of green cucumber, and 4 small pieces of questionably fresh cake. Drinks were available at the buffet. Breakfast at the hotel costs 70 PLN per person. Nobody informed us about the breakfast service style during check-in. What's more, the receptionist offered a buffet breakfast to a client checking in before us. The wave of embarrassment grew into a tsunami. We are very disappointed because the previous two stays were a very pleasant surprise. We have no idea what went wrong, but for a four-star hotel, this is definitely unacceptable.
