I only stayed here one night flying in late and catching a ferry the next morning. The hotel is in a great spot to take a walk along the water that night, and then super easy to walk to the ferry terminal the next morning. Very nice hotel and a huge room. Staff was awesome, too. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dumaguete.

Guest UserThe actual room felt older than the photos shown on the booking site. That was a bit of a shock at first, but overall, it was well maintained and more comfortable than other nearby hotels. The Italian restaurant on the ground floor was excellent!

The hostel is in the city, not on the beach. I quickly figured out how to get to the sights, I visited the Casaroro waterfall on my own, it's great, the beaches of Dauina. The staff is wonderful, I don't know the language at all, but everyone tried to help me, through an online translator, they answered all my questions. I am happy with the stay. I am 70 years old, and everyone there is young, like my grandchildren, cheerful and very diligent, and I came across very positive neighbors. The territory and pool are well-kept, the bathroom is clean. I recommend for independent travelers

What a find! Location: a 1-min walk to the Boulevard, street has good food choices (Pyesta was lovely). Property: 4 rooms, more than perfect for 6 adults in our family, with firm premium beds. 2.5 T&B, full kitchen. Surprise: there’s even a pool at the back! I loved our stay talaga. Even the receptionist at the main hotel, Shelton, was super responsive and warm.

The room is clean and the equipment is old
Slippers and toothbrushes are provided
The sound insulation is average. I can hear the sound of cars. The air conditioner is noisy.

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The staff is incredibly attentive, courteous, and caring. We stayed for four days and discovered a lot of hair on the bathroom floor upon check-in, but we didn't bother. A major drawback was the non-functioning bathroom fan, which allowed a lot of mosquitoes into the room, and the staff didn't have any mosquito repellent. The hotel has a swimming pool on the third floor; it's very small, and they don't provide pool towels or lounge chairs. The lounge and smoking area is on the second floor. Breakfast is Filipino, with English breakfast available for an additional fee.
Each floor has a water dispenser with hot and cold water, and the room has cups, tea, coffee, and sugar.
We booked a tricycle to the airport at reception for 150 pesos.

Edson Jude DonosoGabby's Bed and Breakfast is an absolute gem, particularly excelling in its unique and charming aesthetic design, which makes every corner of the place feel colorful, cozy, and homey. The wonderful staff, comfortable rooms, and delicious food (especially the breakfast) make for a truly enjoyable stay, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat. However, the one notable drawback is the location, as it is situated a bit further from the main city center and popular spots like the Rizal Boulevard, meaning you'll need to rely on local transport for most of your sightseeing trips, which can add a slight inconvenience to an otherwise perfect experience.

The place is quiet, good for people who like relaxation in a tranquil environment. The room is okay, I got a small ne but it was enough for me since I came as a solo. However, I don‘t understand why it was so hard to hail a tricycle going to this place, no matter how near it actually is. Even the tricycles from there won‘t pick you up even when it‘s not yet fully occupied. So far my stay was good. I was able to work in my room, I just wished they have something like a study table where guests who needs to work remotely can work. Also, it would be nice if you know how to drive a motorbike and hold a driver‘s license. Cause going to the places there back in forth can be really hard when commuting only, unlike when you can rent a motorbike, you can go anywhere, anytime without a hassle.
