Because of a homestay, I fell in love with an island. Luana House is backed by the mountains and facing the sea, watching the mountains and the sea, watching the sunset, watching the sky full of stars, satisfying the appearance of all the houses in the dream. Beautiful boss, handsome boss, the ultimate and exquisite room and service details. What touched me was that we didn't tell the time of arrival at all. The bus was still in confusion. The boss and his wife had already raised their hands to us on the platform on the hillside. I really don't know how many times they looked around. And who would have expected that a table full of dishes that make your taste buds bloom is made by such a beautiful proprietress. The fresh fish caught from the sea every day and the fruits and vegetables from the garden make our perfect dinner. In order to plan a route for the greedy me, the two couples racked their brains and tried everything possible to satisfy my ideas, and then drove us to the hot spring every night. The hostess will wash the clothes we change every day and fold them for us. It is a super five-star hotel service! Full score of strength!

I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days for a trekking trip to Yakushima. Since all the hotels were booked, I had no choice but to stay at a guesthouse. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and located right next to the main road and a bus stop, making it the perfect location for traveling on foot. The owner was kind and even provided fruit and snacks when we met in the morning, giving me the feeling of staying at a guesthouse in Korea. After trekking Jomon Sugi and Shiratani Unsukyo, I rested comfortably and had a wonderful trip.

I went to Yakushima Land in the pouring rain, so I wanted to take a bath early, so I went to a nearby day spa that opens at 3pm. It was before check-in time, but they let me put the sashimi and beer I bought for dinner in the pension's refrigerator in advance, which was very helpful. Moreover, when I told the owner that I was going to Manten's hot spring, he said, ”You can take the bath towel and towel from your room. If you tell them you're from Ichigo Ichikai, you'll get a discount.” I was able to take a bath at a great price, which I'm grateful for. I had a fun conversation with the owner's wife in the kitchen, so I didn't feel lonely even though I was drinking alone. I didn't bring my pajamas, but I told them and they were able to borrow some. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was very comfortable. Regarding breakfast, I have a wheat allergy and can't eat bread, so when I inquired in advance, I was told that they serve Japanese food, so I was excited to have it. It was a very delicious and nutritious breakfast with plenty of protein, and I was very satisfied with both my mind and body. The coffee that the owner made for me after the meal was also very delicious. The wooden building made of local cedar was soothing to the eyes, and the air I breathed in through my nose brought good energy to my body, making it the perfect retreat. Flowers were displayed everywhere, and I felt calm every time I saw them. Thank you for everything. Thank you very much for all your help. I would like to visit again.

The oldest, slender gentleman with graying hair at the front desk first asked me about my travel plans for the next few days. Then, using a translation app, he communicated with me sentence by sentence to help me plan my itinerary. This was incredibly detailed, down to whether I wanted a bento box for breakfast or lunch, what time to catch the train each day, where and when to transfer, what time the last return train was, and by what time I absolutely had to leave. He even made sure to tell me which direction to take the train so I wouldn't get it wrong. The katakana he used, when put through the translation app, roughly translates to ”Kiyooka” or ”Seioka” (Mr. Kiyooka/Seioka). My sincere thanks to this gentleman!

めちゃくちゃ良かった。ご飯はボリュームが凄く、味も最高だったのでついつい沢山お代わりしてしまった。部屋からはモッチョム岳を望む最高の眺め。チェックアウト前、ぜひ見ておいた方が良いと、千尋の滝に連れて行ってもらい、なんとバス停にもそのまま送ってもらえた。最高の宿！

大通りから曲がる時、宿の看板があり、わかりやすいが夜だと若干見つけにくいかもしれません。連泊すると毎朝メインのおかずが変わり、工夫してくれてます。心遣いを感じました。他の宿泊者の音も気にならず快適でした。歯ブラシが洗面台に置いてあり、もらえるようになってます。良かったので家族も利用しました。

Ujiudao Villa is a secret hot spring in the forest, the environment is quiet, and the window is the negative ion air of the virgin forest. The Japanese-style rooms are clean and comfortable, and some have tatami areas. The biggest highlight is the high-quality hot springs. The open-air wind can listen to the stream while soaking in the soup and watching the stars, and the skin is smooth and tender. The dinner banquet cuisine uses local mountain and seafood, and the breakfast is also very rich. The staff is warm and professional and can provide hiking suggestions. 4.5 star recommendation, especially suitable for relaxing after hiking, is the perfect place to explore the nature of Yakushima.

อยู่ใกล้ท่าเรือ ใกล้สถานีรถบัส เดิตเที่ยว นั่งบัสเที่ยวสะดวก ลงจากเรือแล้วเดินข้ามถนนมาโรงแรมได้เลย มานั่งรอเช็คอินนานกว่า 30 นาทีเพราะมีพนักงานผู้ชายอายุมากแล้วคนเดียวคุยกับลูกค้าอีกคน คุยเสร็จแล้วก็ไม่สนใจลูกค้าทึ่นั่งรอเช็คอินต้องเข้าไปทักขอเช็คอิน พอทักก็บอกให้รอพนักงานกะต่อไปเช็คอินให้ คนจีนพักเยอะ คือเหมือนไปง้อพักเหลือเกิน โรงแรมมีให้เลือกเยอะอยู่นะ แต่ห้องพักดีอยู่ กลางคืนก็เงียบ นอนสบาย

This stay was great! The room was clean and comfortable, the facilities were complete, and the beds were soft and sleepy. The geography is very quiet and there are many attractions to visit around. Overall, cost-effective, recommended to travelers who want to relax, will come again next time!

This minshuku is located quite near Miyanoura port, the owners are super nice and they have a public bath that is perfect after a trekking day in Yakushima.
