The service is very, very, very enthusiastic. You can take a hot spring bath for free, and there are not many people. The Japanese say hi, hi, it's so touching! I especially like this kind of small village

audrey-xuContinuation of the previous article: I booked two rooms for this trip, so I have two opportunities to comment. The photos uploaded in the previous article are limited, so I will continue to add in this one. There are drinks in the hotel's small refrigerator, all of which are free to drink. There are men's toner and women's cleansing and makeup removal skin care products, so when you go to Japan, you don't need to bring your skin care products to reduce the burden of luggage. The hotel waiter will introduce all the facilities of the hotel to you from the moment you check in, and explain in English. If you don't understand, you can use a translator.
As a Chinese, you still need to abide by the local order when you go out. The hot spring hotel will provide you with hot spring instructions (there is a PDF file in Ctrip's reply email that specifically explains the dress and precautions for Japanese hot springs.) The way to wear a kimono is that the left lapel is on top, and if the right lapel is on the bottom, it is for **. So don't make a mistake. People with large tattoos are not allowed to enter. And ladies, after blowing their hair, remember that there is a vacuum cleaner in the locker room. Clean it yourself, which is also a reflection of quality.
If I remember correctly, their men's and women's hot springs are switched every day, so the hot spring you soaked in that night may be switched to another one the next day. The locals explained that this way you can see different scenery. When you arrive at the hotel, remember to listen carefully to the waiter's explanation.

The room was standard. I stayed here on a business trip, and although it was about a 20-minute walk from the station, it was convenient because it was close to my destination. The breakfast menu was extensive and satisfying. The staff were very polite. Personally, I would have preferred a large public bath.

ずみ773It's located in front of the station, but on the opposite side of the bustling downtown area. The building is old, so the facilities are probably over 30 years old. The bed was a single with a soft mattress, which wasn't to my liking. However, considering the location, the price was reasonable. Breakfast was served as a set meal and was properly edible, which was nice. I just wish the bed was more comfortable.

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app.
If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess.
The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer.
The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too.
Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

The location is very good, the hotel has been a few years, the hardware facilities are definitely not new, but the location is very close to the Jiafu station, the travel is very convenient, the weekend price is expensive, no way, other more expensive!

The location was good, the amenities were plentiful, and it was a comfortable stay. The baths were designated for men and women at designated times, but the large communal bath was clean.
The breakfast was also satisfying with a wide variety of options. The staff were all very friendly.
One thing that bothered me was that although it was a non-smoking room, it was an old building and there was a bit of a cigarette smell permeating the room.
I would like to use this hotel again.

Staff Ryo san is very friendly and helpful. He is very informative and I enjoy chatting with him. Our room comes with a toilet as shown. An option for a private bath is available costing 500 yen for 30min. I approached Ryo san and book my timing (first come first serve) only after I checked in. My one night stay comes with a simple breakfast the next morning. The homely meal is rice with egg omelette and some other dishes. Roughly a 15min walk to Kofu train station.

Perhaps because it's near a sports park, it felt just like a dormitory for college students on a training camp. The room itself was spacious and clean, but the common areas were dirty. Luckily, I was able to sleep peacefully last night, but as an old man, I don't think I'll ever use it again.
