When I occasionally encountered staff, they greeted me respectfully, which added to the wonderful experience. In the morning and evening, you can admire the beautiful Japanese garden, which is quite expansive, featuring pavilions, bridges over streams, and a lotus pond. Highly recommended!

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the JR station, about 10 minutes. The room was very spacious, in a Japanese style, with a great view of the distant mountains. Free yukata were available in front of the elevators. The communal baths are on the first floor, with separate times for men and women that swap between day and night. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor options, with many different types of pools to choose from, making for a very comfortable soak. There's also a large koi pond in the courtyard with some very plump fish. The lobby on the first floor is huge and sells a variety of items like clothes and fruit.
