Very beautiful place and super clean. Check in was hassle free and Stephano and his kindly mum are the greatest hosts. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone! Stephano is most helpful and the much raved about breakfast lives up to its name. Thank you Stephano for helping us so much with the item we left behind, so blessed!

The location is in the village outside Syracuse. The door is not very obvious. After the car is driven in, it is suddenly bright. The operation is very careful. The garden plants and swimming pool are very beautiful. The environment and service are good. You can live for two days and enjoy it. The bread for breakfast is delicious by the hotel itself, and a bottle of olive oil was sent when I left. Recommended! The location is in the village outside the city of Syracuse. We would book Thalya Rooms again without a doubt. Perfect location to visit all highlights that Syracuse and Ortigia have to offer. Free parking in the street, clean room with comfortable bed and lovely staff. Veronica is a gem, she gave us a warm welcome and provided all information we needed to enjoy our stay in this area.

hotel well located but room was weird… shower in the middle of the bedroom rather than in the bathroom. we were in a superior double. the rooms facing the ocean look much nicer than the ones facing the interior/street. street noise was bothersome, especially glass bottles being tipped at 5am.

Excellent Stay with Great Location and Stunning Views I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic—just a 16-minute walk from the train station and about 15-20 minutes on foot to the island’s main attractions. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean， with the added bonus of being close to the sea. It even had two balconies, allowing us to enjoy the lovely views and fresh air. What made our stay even better was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always welcoming and went out of their way to assist us whenever needed. LOL Hostel is located close to the Siracuse train station. Just 2 minutes'walk! It is extremely convenient if you go there by train. There are lots if seating areas in the reception area. You can watch TV and surf Internet there. There is also a bar and an open kitchen with a fridge. There is also an outdoor seating area. The bedroom is clean and quiet. I had a good sleep there.

The level of cleanliness in this little hotel was 100% the staff warm and welcoming and the breakfast included was an absolute bargain. On arrival we were a little underwhelmed but as soon as we noticed and appreciated how fresh and clean the hotel was, how helpful the staff were we were v happy with our choice. We were lucky to find a fantastic local restaurant just a block away towards Ortigia - not in Ortigia and the menu prices were not Ortigia level either, just a street across from the restaurant was a fantastic ice cream shop with a wonderful bar opposite. We had such a great time as this restaurant, gelato, bar trinity we went twice. Sorry can't remember the restaurant name but the bar is called Stone10 I think. Lots of free parking in the streets around the hotel, beautiful church opposite. This hotel is a bargain we would recommend 10/10

We have waited for 15 mins outside the accommodation which no one is inside. There isn’t any check-in details provide for us when we arrive and we have to call the owner to wait for her arrival to check in. The room is nice and clean. However, the location is a bit too far from the city centre. There’s a bus stop nearby but there is only a single bus each hour.

The room is small but clean, and you get what you need (hairdryer and shower stuff). The breakfast time is very early and not much a variety of food so we skipped mostly. The location is very close to the Neapolis Archaeological Park but I would prefer to live somewhere closer to Ortigia next time as there are more restaurants and activities going on there. Especially if you don’t have a car, you will have to walk 20+ minutes there which is a torture to walk during the cruel summer. If you want to do laundry, nothing nearby. Also no reception so you will have to call the number upon arrival and wait for the lady to come.

The beddings were very clean and comfortable. One younger guy and a midaged man (kungfu master) at the front desk were very helpful and kind. There was no fridge, hair dryer, no water in the room, which was acceptable. But wifi barely worked in the 2/F room and we ended up having to use quite a lot of data during our few days’ stay here. Ah, and the 2/F room we got only has a window close to the ceiling that we can’t reach, which wasn’t to my favor.. But it wasn’t easy to find a reasonably priced room around ortigia, so i guess that somewhat makes up for the downsides.
