Stayed at this great hotel for 3 nights after a few nights in South Goa. Made full use of the facilities - the rooftop pool is lovely and very quiet, great views and the staff are very friendly - we checked in early without a fee and check out is midday which is much better than the normal 10am/11am. Although only a few sunbeds at the pool, they were available every day when we visited in the afternoon. The gym is also one of the most well equipped hotel gyms we’ve stayed in. We didn’t try the food at the hotel, preferring to explore outside, but it looked very good. Lots of cafes, restaurants nearby e.g. Fisherman’s Wharf over the road with Goan and international food. Staff were very helpful and pleasant, room spacious and very clean, cleaned daily, shower etc supplies replaced every day. Would definitely recommend this hotel - an oasis of calm within busy Panaji!

Overall, I really liked it. It's missing just a few minor details to make it a 5, which is typical of Indian culture. The area is near the Portuguese Quarter. For some reason, the area around the hotel is poorly lit in the evening, while the Portuguese Quarter is well lit. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is showing its age. But the staff are courteous and respond quickly, the water in the bathroom is hot, the bed is big and comfortable, and the river view from our elite suite was great. Breakfast was average for this type of accommodation. The highlight was the daily rearrangement of the cutlery. Cleanliness could be better. TV and internet could be improved. But overall, not bad for a budget hotel.

Review for Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa: We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa. The food was excellent, and the staff were extremely courteous, professional, and always willing to help. The property itself is a beautiful paradise, with stunning views that truly enhance the overall experience. The only minor drawback was the presence of mosquitoes, which was a bit disappointing; however, we understand that this is due to the weather conditions and natural surroundings. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and were very satisfied with the experience. We would definitely recommend the Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa to our friends and family, as it is one of the best places to stay for comfort, service, and scenic beauty.
