Heyitsdi00We are a family of three and stayed at this hotel for six days during our trip to Croatia. The hotel is located on a beautiful island, about an hour by ferry from Dubrovnik. We booked the hotel’s transfer service from the airport, and it was absolutely worth it—everything was smooth and hassle-free.
If you’re looking to escape the busy crowds of Dubrovnik and experience the charm of an authentic Croatian island, I can definitely recommend this place. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Our room was spotless, and the restaurant served delicious food throughout our stay.
One of the best things about the location is that you can still easily visit Dubrovnik whenever you like. Ferries run between the island and Dubrovnik around 5–6 times a day, making day trips very convenient.
We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would happily come back again.

Guest UserHad a great stay at the Royal Princess Resort. The hotels are all part of the same group so you can use the facilities across the properties. The walkway from the promenade into Lapad was so beautiful. Beaches are super clean and the staff could not be nicer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so incredibly memorable. Dubrovnik city is only a quick Uber away.

We've just returned from a weekend in Dubrovnik, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience.
The hotel is ideally located in the peaceful Lapad area, with magnificent sea views. The setting is truly superb and very relaxing. The grounds are well-maintained, and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable, clean, and very pleasant, with a splendid view.
The staff were professional and welcoming throughout our stay. It's clear that the establishment is well-managed and that the customer experience is taken seriously.
We also really appreciated the easy access to the seaside promenades (via the lower level of the restaurant) and to the Lapad district, which is very lively in the evenings while still being much calmer than the Old Town.
The only area for improvement would be the external noise from the ventilation system.
In summary: a beautiful hotel, well-located, with an exceptional setting, a fantastic breakfast, and pleasant staff. We would definitely return on our next trip to Dubrovnik.

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, exhausted after a long journey, and were truly delighted to discover that we had been complimentary upgraded to a Presidential Suite. It was such a thoughtful and generous gesture that immediately set the tone for our stay.
We spent an absolutely unforgettable day at the hotel, enjoying every moment. The following day, we were kindly invited to use the SPA facilities free of charge, which made our experience even more special and relaxing.
The breakfast was exceptional — beautifully presented, with a wide variety of delicious options.
I will definitely return to this hotel when I come back to Dubrovnik.

The room is nice with an outdoor balcony.
The surrounding facilities are good, with a large outdoor swimming pool.
Although it is not in the old town, if you want to go to the old town, you can also take bus line 6, which is a good experience.

Seat 2AAlthough this hotel is situated quite some distance from the Old Town this is not a bad thing at all. Insect I very much appreciated being removed from the thick crowds and noise, and very much enjoyed the peace and tranquility and spectacular sea views from this wonderful resort. Definitely worth paying extra for a c facing room, for breathtaking panoramas day and night.
My room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, with ample space for everything although a luggage rack or designated space for luggage would enhance overall comfort greatly.
Staff were generally helpful and polite, with special mention to Matija the Restaurant Manager, who, despite handling large volumes of customers, remained unfailingly cheerful and energetic.
The breakfast buffet was very generous by European standards, whilst the dinner buffet selection was also more than adequate and quite good value at 35 Euros per person.
As mentioned in previous reviews, a bus connects the Babin Kuk area (where the Royal Ariston and her neighboring sister hotels, the Royal Princess, Royal Blue, Royal Palm and Neptun are situated) to the Old Town. If you purchase the 40 Euro Dubrovnik City pass, discovers one day worth of this bus travel plus access to the city walls and its museums.
Cannot recommend this resort highly enough and look forward to my return.

We had a wonderful family ( 6 ..2 parents with 4 children 17 + ) holiday in Hotel Vis. The location of the hotel is superb. The views from the sea view rooms are magnificent! You literally walk into the beach.
The outside bar is beautiful with stunning views.
The hotel rooms could do with a bit of modernism and if there was music / entertainment in the bar you would never want to leave it.
Yet the rooms are a good size and for the price b and b it is affordable for families.
The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious.
We will definitely be staying here again. A safe , stunning views, friendly staff.
The staff to be highly commended were the cleaning staff who were always smiling and happy. The front desk staff were lovely too.
Thank you for a wonderful family holiday.

Kash AshWe stayed at this apartment during our visit to Dubrovnik. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with excellent hospitality from the owner, although there were a few things worth noting.
The apartment was clean and well stocked with basic kitchen essentials. It had pans, plenty of cutlery, salt, coffee, milk, and other small items that made self-catering convenient. There were also brochures for boat trips, city tours, and other local attractions, which were helpful for planning our stay.
The standout feature was the owner. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Even though we arrived late, she was available by phone, responded quickly to every question, and did her best to guide us with parking and check-in. Her helpfulness made the experience much smoother.
The main downside was parking. There is no convenient parking nearby, and finding a place to leave the car was quite challenging. The apartment is located in what feels like a residential neighbourhood, around a 15-minute drive from Dubrovnik Old Town, so having a car can be both useful and frustrating because of the parking situation.
The apartment also felt more like someone’s home than a serviced hotel apartment. If you’re expecting hotel-style accommodation with dedicated reception or professionally managed facilities, this may not meet those expectations. However, if you’re happy with a simple residential apartment and appreciate a responsive and caring host, it offers good value.
Overall, a clean and practical apartment with an exceptionally helpful host, but be prepared for parking challenges and a more residential experience rather than a hotel-style stay.

This is a really nice budget hotel, located in Lapad, away from the hustle & bustle of the old town, and close to the beach. We had a large room with an extremely comfortable bed/pillows, and a terrace/balcony. I thought it was a great idea to have clothes drying racks on the balconies, perfect for your beach towels & swimsuits. We had the breakfast, and it was pretty much the same every day. But even for us vegans, we could get something nice to eat. And for people with no dietary restrictions, there is even more choice. Our shower was faulty, which we reported to staff on our first morning. As it was the weekend, they advised that it probably wouldn't be fixed immediately, but by Tuesday we had a brand new shower head (the shower was usable, just faulty - we didn't have to exist without a shower!) The staff were lovely, friendly, helpful, and gave good tips about the beaches and surrounding area.
There is a bus stop directly across the street from the hotel, where you can catch Bus 6 to the old town. The buses are small and very busy (September) and the cost is 2.50 euro one way. We did also buy tickets in advance from the kiosk in the town, where they are a little cheaper (1.70). And I must admit, we walked to the old town on several occasions. 30 minute walk, but with beautiful views. The beaches close by are lovely. There is a great walking path along the coast, and at some spots you can walk down stone steps to small seating areas, where you can also jump into the ocean and swim. We did this instead of going to the pebble beaches and hiring sun loungers.
Overall, this was a really nice hotel, perfect for what we wanted. It is not high end, glam or luxurious, but it is comfortable, clean and friendly.
