This is a uniquely beautiful hotel in a historical building. The rooms are lovely with a huge shower and bath. The staff at check-in were super friendly and gave us a free upgrade on arrival. However, be wary of the bar. The serving staff were inattentive. We asked to see a menu and the waiter walked past us for a second time as though he had never seen us before. Drinks took a long time to arrive. We also had to request slippers twice from reception to successfully receive them. Overall, lovely hotel but the majority of the staff could do with extra training, especially the bar staff.

Excellent welcome. No deposit required upon arrival. Friendly staff, especially Eddy at the reception. Free early check-in by 3 hours. Welcome drink offered. The room is clean and well-equipped (large TV, hairdryer, kettle, coffee, tea, water, mini-fridge, safe). Quiet AC. Good water pressure in the bathroom. Good soundproofing in the rooms. Bar located on the 1st floor. Paid parking (Paddington Village Multi-Storey Car Park) is a 3-minute walk away. I recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely stay. I couldn't believe how lovely the hotel was, in an ideal location, and the service was second to none. I'll definitely be staying again.

From the very first moments, we liked that the staff was friendly and quickly helped with check-in, and the overall atmosphere in the hotel felt calm and modern. The room turned out to be clean, tidy, and quite comfortable for relaxing after walks around Liverpool. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything necessary for a short trip, and the overall level of service left a pleasant impression. It's particularly convenient that the hotel is suitable for both tourist trips and business visits: getting to key places in the city is easy, and returning to the hotel in the evening is not difficult. Breakfast was generally a bit weak. The selection of dishes was decent, the food was hot and fresh, and standard options included hot dishes, pastries, and drinks. However, it's worth noting that the breakfast area can get quite crowded in the mornings, and seating can sometimes be insufficient, so it might feel a bit cramped during peak hours. This isn't a critical drawback, but it is noticeable if you come at the busiest times. The most contentious point was the parking. It's available, which is convenient, especially for a city center location, but we had to pay **£52** for it, which seemed far too expensive for one night. From a practical standpoint, having parking under the hotel is a plus because you don't have to search for a spot on the street, but the price left us feeling overcharged. This particular point spoiled the overall impression the most, although in all other aspects, the hotel is quite decent. Otherwise, the Hampton by Hilton Liverpool City Centre can be considered a reliable and convenient option for a trip to Liverpool. It has a good location, decent rooms, a satisfactory breakfast, and polite staff. Apart from the high cost of parking, the hotel leaves an impression of comfortable city accommodation without unnecessary fuss. For a short stop, it's a very practical choice, especially if it's important to be close to attractions and not waste time on travel.

I stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did. On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood. The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy. Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more. Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left. Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful helpful staff, a lovely apartment overlooking the water and next door to the M&S arena. Chloe was outstanding in her job by being caring and helpful. Will definitely stay again👍

Great two night break at Novotel Liverpool City Centre. The location was perfect for all the sights bars and restaurants. We went to see Barry Manilow concert and the arena was approx 10 -15 minute walk which was great. Had a freshly cooked meal in the restaurant called Ropewalks inside the hotel, we ordered fish and chips and New York Cheese cake. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced two courses for £20. The pool initially felt cold but was fine after a few minutes of swimming. I thought it was a very good hotel with good facilities in a perfect location and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Liverpool

Very disappointed there isn’t a dining area. I didn’t like the shared toilets. People not flushing it after they finished. Not told how to go round the back into the yard if needed. I stay in other hostels regularly & I am used to faster service too. The check in experience was very slow. As a person with ADHD I can’t be kept waiting for too long. As for being close to things to do , the location is ideal , but I know other hostels & hotels that are close too. I know the City really well , but I won’t stay here again
