Great
CChris J HornWhat an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only niggle I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.
AAnonymous UserClean and tidy accommodation. There were a couple of minor issues but they were dealt with straightaway. Great breakfast and welcoming hosts.
LLAMConnieThe Holiday Inn staff are always smiling and every time they pass by the reception they are greeted warmly and feel like home. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast. There are not too many kinds of food, but it is good for us. Maria, the waiter in the restaurant, will say hello to each guest every day. During the conversation, we also deepened our understanding of the local culture. Other employees will be very busy in the restaurant and do everything. Sometimes there is a shortage of staff, and the chef will personally deliver hot food to the restaurant front desk, so that the guests can enjoy the rich as soon as possible. breakfast.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the Holiday Inn Ashford.
