Great
MmarcryuThe location is the best. It's the first hotel before the bridge to Mont Saint-Michel and the shuttle bus service that takes you there is just outside the hotel.
This room on the first floor had a view of barrage, it's clean and functional, but looks really tired and dated. The room is really warm with the flat roof structure outside the windows trapping all the heat.
We had 2 furbabies and it was great the hotel is pet friendly. Dinner with the halfboard option was pretty good but our preferred choice was not available due to a large tour group having dined before us.
Breakfast had a good spread, with a splendid view of Mont Saint-Michel. It's really pricey for what it is.
SShanguangdeasinuoThe hotel is about a five-minute walk from the train station. There are many crepe shops nearby, but since most people stop there to see Mont Saint-Michel, it's recommended to make reservations for popular restaurants in advance.
Getting to Mont Saint-Michel from here requires a bus ride of about twenty minutes. The hotel reception has a bus timetable; just ask the staff.
Because it's an older building, the floors and stairs are carpeted, so guests with mobility issues should be careful. The small courtyard is lovely; you can dine there on a nice day.
The staff are very polite, speak fluent English, and are happy to help.
I forgot to take pictures of the room, but it was very clean and overlooks the courtyard. There's nothing particularly outstanding, but it's excellent value for money for a one- or two-night stay.
RRicardoHotel super good. You can park your car free there and go to the Mont Saint Michel by walk for 45 minutes. A very special and recomendable experience, you can see the sheeps around the Mont. The room was big and spacious. The breakfast is quite good for the price. The staff super kind and talk in english with us. I will recomend this hotel for people who wants to enjoy the Mont Saint Michel.
YYooyooooWe had a wonderful stay at this property! The room was incredibly comfortable and pleasantly cool, which was a huge relief given how hot the weather was in France. It was also very spacious, and having a fully equipped kitchen allowed the two of us to cook our own meals easily.
The location is excellent—there is free parking on-site, and it’s only take 15-minute drive to Mont Saint-Michel. It’s also very convenient for day trips, taking just over an hour to drive to Cancale and St. Malo, and there’s a convenience store only a 10-minute drive away.
On top of that, the beautiful swimming pool and peaceful surroundings made our stay even better. The self-check-in process was seamless and hassle-free, which we highly appreciated since we arrived quite late that day. Highly recommended!
EelyzazzNo mat provided for tub that will cause small accident as slippery in the tub during shower. Simple as no kettle for hot water to drink or make a coffee. Overall good as shuttle bus infront of the hotel . To come in with code not provided upon booking
1110137****This time I chose to stay at the Auberge Saint Pierre Hotel. It is easy to find. Enter Mount Saint Michel and follow the main road to enter the city gate and walk to the storefront of 3-4. Outside the window is the mountain road that extends in all directions. The room is spacious and bright enough. The hot water for washing hands and the hot water for bathing in the bathroom are two pipes. The hot water for the shower is cold for 10 minutes, and the hot water for washing hands is second. Finally, you can wash your hair with the hot water of the wash basin. Then the restaurant on the first floor of the hotel was full of people. The fish and lamb chops we ordered were not as delicious as the waiter recommended, and there was some stomach trouble afterward. It was not recommended for eating.
SScheloyI stayed one night at the Hotel Gabriel. The staff were kind, helpful, and very polite. I had a 5:00 PM check-in (I've never checked in at this time before), but luckily they vacated my room at 3:30 PM. Having paid €155 for one night, I expected breakfast to be included, but no, I had to pay €12.00. This is the first time I've paid for breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly.
GGuest UserNot much to say … only good stuff!
Nice welcome at reception when we checked in earlier than planned. We got touristic advice to go around and they kept our big suitcases. We unfortunately didn’t get parking as they were full.. all reserved (NB: trip.com never discussed that we had to book the parking, this is something Accor and Trip.com should discuss about as this is now our 2nd encounter of this problem…. Coming from Malaysia and renting a car, this is not helping… we had no idea we had to reserve parking)
The bedroom was very nice, pretty balcony but small bathroom… especially given the placement of the toilet…. lol. But never mind. Nice deck of the bedroom and the hotel too… themed on Christian Dior and fashion, we liked that ☺️
Last the breakfast and its location: beautiful. The view of the sea is really good, the furniture is nicely chosen, and the food is good. First time I see a « make your sunny side up eggs yourself » set in a hotel, which was cool.
GGaétan96If you’re seeking a comfortable and modern stay near Mont Saint-Michel, the Altos Hotel & Spa in Avranches (often referred to as ‘Atos’ in user queries) stands out for its welcoming environment, wellness amenities, and easy access to local attractions. This hotel is praised for its contemporary design, spacious and bright rooms, and a serene spa area featuring sauna, jacuzzi, and massage services. It’s ideally situated just a short drive from Mont Saint-Michel, offering guests a tranquil base away from the crowds. Warm, attentive service and local restaurant recommendations from staff enhance the experience, while amenities like secure parking, fast Wi-Fi, and a generous breakfast buffet contribute to a relaxing and convenient stay.
GGuest UserIt is best to use only for sleeping. It is also along the national highway and is suitable for movement, but the bathroom and toilet are shared, so it is a part that is divided by people for good and bad.
