Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

The location of the homestay is very convenient, and you can reach various attractions within a few minutes' walk. I am most satisfied with the hygiene. The room is clean and comfortable, with good lighting, and the details of the bed are also well done. Especially the warm reception of the landlord. When we arrived, the landlord personally greeted us and introduced the tourist attractions and food recommendations in Zhenyuan in detail. Later, whether answering questions or providing help, the landlord was very patient, very good! u1s1, the night view is really good, I recommend friends who come to play to go out and visit the night view at night

This river-view room is fantastic, right next to Zhusheng Bridge – a prime spot! Don't let the guesthouse's small facade fool you; the rooms are fully equipped, clean, tidy, and comfortable. Qinglong Cave is just across the river. Within a two-minute walk, you'll find scenic spots, supermarkets, restaurants, breakfast places, and local specialty shops – super convenient! The owner is warm and down-to-earth. He even picked us up from outside town and arranged free parking for my car in his garage, helping us with our luggage. It was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. We had a wonderful time in Zhenyuan Ancient Town, and this guesthouse, 'Zhuimeng Shuixie,' was definitely a big part of that great experience. Very clean triple room with aroma smell in the washroom. The male attendant was very helpful and will try to fulfill our requests. Very nice river view from hotel and we did not need to pay the entrance fees unlike other places which can cost RMB80-RMB90. The room provided tibits and was just handy as we still had not eaten lunch when we arrived at the hotel about 4 pm. We took a cab from Zheng Yuan Railway Station as we came from Kaili Station which was a one hour journey and one train stop away which cost RMB14.5 per pax as we just finished a 4 day package tour in Guizhou and our guide dropped us there. The hotel lady boss was unable to inform us that the cabs and private cars cannot go inside the area which I supposed to be after 2 pm On the day we were finding transport to Zhao Xing Dong Village, the lady boss was busy doing live stream for her potential visitors but luckily she managed to find us a good deal for the transport after her live stream. .

Great value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town. The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors! Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

The hotel room was the best of my entire Yunnan-Guizhou trip. It was very close to the bustling ancient street, making it convenient for dining. From the room, I could see the river and bridge, giving it a bit of a Fenghuang feel. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. They even provided snacks and drinks. The owner called me in advance to send me his location and came to pick me up at the intersection. I'll definitely come back next time.

The room was very clean and the environment was great. It was also convenient for dining. The ancient town is rich in history and definitely worth a visit. The night view is truly unique, and the architecture along both banks of the Wuyang River is particularly distinctive.

Since cars aren't allowed inside the ancient town, we had to park in an outside lot. The owner personally drove a motorized three-wheeler to pick us up and help transport our luggage. The river view at night is absolutely breathtaking, and sitting on the balcony enjoying the breeze was wonderfully relaxing. This area within the ancient town is incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. What's more, it's super convenient – just a few steps downstairs and you're right in the bustling heart of town.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the old town. While the rooms are a bit dated, they are clean and tidy. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and helpful, even giving us a complimentary room upgrade. There are plenty of dining options nearby. All in all, it's great value for money, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in town.

This inn is right in the smack of the WuYang river, near 新大桥 / reachable by public bus route 1,3 at 新大桥北 or route 6 at 东门. Can ask for river view. Come with TV as and good set of Wifi. Toilet is very small though but complete with hot water shower and squat type toilet. Lights come on at 6.30pm. convenient and good location is what I am looking for. Have extended my stay for 1 more night before making to another city. According to the local folks , Dec to Feb is humid and cold in this region.
