The owners were honest and welcoming; their enthusiasm wasn't overly overbearing, making the experience quite comfortable. We only exchanged a few words during check-in and check-out. Otherwise, we mostly just nodded and smiled at each other. It was a nice place. However, the word ”hotel” felt a bit inappropriate 😂 It's a self-built guesthouse. Fortunately, there's an elevator and the hygiene is acceptable. Its strength lies in its value for money, as we had a 65+ year old mother and a 5-year-old son with us. So, four people sharing a room was perfect. There were two 1.5-meter twin beds. A large restaurant connected to the hotel above enthusiastically solicits guests to eat there, but you can avoid it 😂 It's really not good; the cooking is worse than my family's. I don't know how such a large restaurant can survive; maybe it's all one-off business like ours. Searching on Dianping (a Chinese review platform), ”Chen Ji” is indeed a good option nearby. Anyway, all the restaurants have similar menus. For rice noodles, you have to go through a back alley to ”Hao Niu Dao” beef bone rice noodle shop, which has a wider selection and is also one of the better-tasting in the area. I suddenly had an epiphany about food: when you're out of town, you can still join the crowds and check reviews. Good restaurants don't necessarily offer delivery, but those that don't offer delivery yet aggressively solicit customers are definitely not good. 🤣

Environment: The room is spacious and has a small balcony. Located in the northwest corner of the Tianshi Mansion, on a commercial street, it meets all daily needs. Service: The service is warm and attentive, answering all questions promptly. Self-service laundry is available.

The train station is just outside the station. The room is relatively large compared to nearby hotels. Disposable cleaning products are more reliable. The sheets and quilt covers are not used for a long time, so it is good to change them every day. There are quite a lot of breakfast varieties.

I brought my family here for a leisurely trip and stayed at Longhu Mountain Villa. The receptionist kindly changed our room to one in the main building. The room was flawless, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel is located under a toad-shaped rock formation, and it's quite large with parking and charging stations. It's just a gate away from the scenic area, and you can directly climb Elephant Trunk Hill with a scenic area ticket. There's a restaurant on-site, with meals costing around 50 yuan per person, and the Chinese breakfast offers a wide variety of options. Overall, I would definitely come back.

No need to rush, no need to look at travel guides, just sleep in until you naturally wake up, enjoy a cup of hot tea—this kind of relaxed life is so comfortable. After waking up, enjoy some local delicacies from the mountains, and take a stroll around the scenic area whenever you feel like it. 🎣 So leisurely!

This was a very weird hotel experience. Firstly, the staff is great and were very responsive to any issues I had. That being said, the hotel has seen better days. I changed rooms, but both rooms had very dirty carpets and bathrooms which had traces of molding on the silicone connections, and the windows were, in my opinion, small. The showers were clean, but the hairs were not removed for a long time, and the water drained very slowly. During my stay, I even saw a small gecko run across the bathroom... The AC unit is terribly loud too, and I couldn't sleep the first night almost at all because of it. I later got used to it, but it still gave me troubles during nighttime. On the third day, around 8:25, the cleaning staff barged into the room unannounced. Even though I was awake, this created an awkward experience... Later, when they came again, they only quickly knocked before coming inside again... The hotel's breakfast is minimal, and poorly prepared. I'd recommend skipping it, and getting something from the street in front of the hotel instead. The location of the hotel is good, being only a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to the Mount Longhu scenic area entrance.
